The only difference between Dreams and Ambition is that the other is written.

What is the real difference between ambition and dream.. the only thing I could think of is that an ambition requires more commitment and direction, technically it should be written. What do you think about this? what are your thoughts? Do you think both words are equivalent or different?

Your dream is what you hope to achieve and usually if you're ambitious enough you will get there. I don't know! That sounds logical.

dear incus,
i guess it is the same in a way - like i dream of becoming rich. and my ambition is to become rich.
the difference will be how you work for your dream.. and your ambition.

It's always good to have dreams and ambitions. But without appropriate actions dreams and ambitions would just remain as dreams and ambitions. Actions not only fortifies our dreams and ambitions but get us closer to them and eventually achieving them.

I think they look similar but the difference is dream sometime looks fantasy type also and dream can be like which could be happen also but ambition is look like some technical sounds ...have to do that and will do that in near future while dream is sometimes remain dreams while for ambition we try hard.

IMO there is just a slight difference between the two. Dreams are something that you aspire to do or have and ambition is the action that you must take to make your dreams come true. We all dream but it is the rare person that is ambitious and focused enough to make their dreams come true. Happy mylotting

Dreamsa can be a wish and a fantasy. Dreams are something we hold on to without knowing if they will be achieved. Ambition is something we strive for. We put more effort into ambition than we do in our dreams.
