Will Shaq be a great addition to the Celtics?

I guess Shaq can still give quality minutes on offense but, on defense, he is way too slow now. The Celtics must provide Shaq with two big and fast companions on the court to compensate his slowness.
Anyway, Shaq or no Shaq, it will be the Heat who will lord it over the NBA for many seasons, starting this season.

of course, shaq will always be a factor inside the paint. whether to intimidate slashers or block shots, shaq will be a presence in the defensive side. on offense, shaq has this sure two points if he gets near the rim. he remains to be unstoppable if he is under the rim or near it. still, he needs to improve the foul shots though. the celtics gets a boast in shaq. put shaq on the line-up and surely you will have an instant score from him. he may be slow now, but his presence still makes an impression on players.

The slowness of Shaq, as have been seen in Cleveland, will be a big factor. The Celtics, as I have said, will have to pair him with another big man who can help him defend the lane. Very fast slashers like D. Wade, K. Durant and L. James will have an easy time if only Shaq will man the lane. He will need help.

if he is able then yes, if you think about it garnett and shaq defending inside or in the offense is no laughing matter.
even if shaq is getting slower and slower this past few years, he is still one of the players that is still being double team always.
