I am also a man who makes jewelry:) I started when I was 18 and now im 20 years old. Im not that good at it but I am willing to learn more and grow in my designs. Im trying to start a buiness with it to share my designs with to world. I work with gemstone beads and shell beads, but I hope in the future to start working with silver. Makeing jewelry if alot of fun and is a great pass time for me.

That is really cool, you should post a picture of some of your work! i love to make jewelry. I also really love to paint. I am doing paintings for both my mom and my sister for their birthdays. I am excited. I love to create :-)

Any form of art is just an extent of beauty in ones heart. Painting, music, jewelry, its all very wonderful. When I figure out how to upload, I show you the necklace I just made. I used pearls and a cone shell. You should upload some of your art. Id be very happy to see any kind of art:)

I have tried making jewelry and although its fairly easy I find it boring. I like a bunch of other craft activities though such as knitting, crocheting, working with clay, and embrodery. My grandma however loves making jewelry and she has made me the prettiest things! I love getting those types of presents from her it shows she was thinking about me.

How nice! Homemade things really do make the best gifts, because it's not just something you bought in a store. It's something that you put time and love into, to show someone you really care about them. Store-bought presents also show you care, but homemade gifts add a really personal touch.

When I was at school I made an enamelled broach in metalwork class and gave it to my mother. It was alot of fun, I'd probably enjoy making jewelry as a hobby.
Is it expensive to buy the materials?

it can get expensive but there are a few good wholesale sites like beadaholique.com and rings-things.com

Good morning dear Glitterwings , ohh well what cann i say , since i am a man , i am not really that good at making jewelry , even though it would really come in handy , at celebrations , or the birthdays of my sister , mother , grandmother , girlfriend and soo on , since making a gift like a handmade jewelry made by myself , it would really have alot more value and meaning then going and buying for the womens of my life , well aniway , i am really certain that there are some mans that do make jewelry but i am not one of them ,i consider you pretty lucky since you know and i assume that you are pretty good at making these jewelrys , because you will have a alot more easy when coming to making gifts for friends and girlfriends .
Well my favourite jewelry is the silver bracelets and the platine bracelets , i really dont like the gold , the rings or earings.
Have a great day dear glitterwings , and lots of luck in making those jewelrys

Hi,
I do not make jewelry because I am allergic to jewelry that isn't real :( However, home maid jewelry is nice.

If you read my post, I do make jewelry that is real :-) I make jewelry with sterling silver and genuine gemstones.
