We hear so much about this but is it really true? Some say the globe is heating up, others say it's cooling down, what is one to believe? Also, apparently every so many years, the earth naturally heats up vastly so could it be we have entered this phase again?

The natural stuff you refer to takes 10,000 years or so. I really don't think we are seeing any overall heating or cooling, just a little variation probably in line with the sunspot cycle. But, does it matter? Scientists are telling us that the Earth will be destroyed in 2013 and others are all talking about 2012, so why worry?
Nature knows best!

Both seem to be correct, but global warming i think is coming faster :) because of the green house effect...the cooling down effect is caused by the "ocean conveyer" , it is named like that because it distributes large quantities of heat around the world, and influences the climate . Nowadays this current of warm water is someway slowed down by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexic(it will reach if it didn't by now the arctic circle) and it causes the "conveyor" to slow down hopefully not shutting it down , resulting the climate to cool down...
This year , the meteorologists forecasted the hardest winter in the last 100 years so ... it's gonna be one of a hell winter.

Yes, I really do believe our climate is changing. Not just the weather but also more catastophic earthquakes, tsumanis, sinkholes and volcanos! Its a crazy world all the way round!

It's actually global shift. Some places are heating up and others are cooling down. This is why there is so much disagreement. Our entire planet is just changing. I don't believe it's due to pollution like they say, although it's is definitely not benefiting the planet.
One cause for this global change is the fact that the Earth is slowly changing orbit. It's just a minor change and isn't going to have any real impact in our lifetime, but it is slightly shifting the seasons. Have you noticed that it gets hotter and colder at different times of the year than it used to?

I don't think global warming is someone to really believe they have proof of this action of global warming the earth is slowly warming but we are speeding the process even more throwing trash and cars and etc. I think it's all in our face. That's why big companies and so many people are trying to save the earth because it's for the best. Plus knowing that peole are doing a good cause and them not doing much helps a lot and Makes peole buy the product.
I have only energy saving light bulbs and there is like not one thing in my house that isn't energy saving because of that my bill is ranges $30-$50 a month . Which is little compare to most peoples lol bill believe me

I think the fact that the global climate is changing is beyond doubt. The real question is whether or not these changes are as a result of human activity. I am not convinced of this. I think variations in solar output is the main driver of climate change.

I think it is true that now whole worlds are affected by global warming. And it is not fake it is true. Yes now the problem is rising in May ways. Because we saw at many places the situations of floods and also sometimes it is a very big problem of mostly countries. So I think really global warming affected all worlds. Now climate has been changes since 5-6 years. So global warming is the cause for this problem.
