Have you ever entered an online competition?

Hi MyLotters,
A friend of mine entered her wedding pictures in an online bridal competition. I don't know why I didn't think of entering it myself, but I told my friend that once she wins, I'll also enter my pictures. I'm sure she'll win!
Have you or anyone you know ever entered an online competition before? Did you/they win?
PS: You can help my friend win the bridal competition by going to complete the task I've created ;)

Well, I guess I have to say "yes" and "no", because the competitions I had entered online are not that meaningful as you mentioned. I just took part in some of the online games, jeopardy, wheel of fortune, tetris game, and so on. This are just for relaxation, but the competitions can get quite tough with other competitors doing so well.

No, not really. Not a competition per se. But I have taken part in many give aways and even won, if that counts?

Yeah, giveaways count I guess. How is the winner determined? From a draw?

Yes I had put my baby on a baby competition site for views. The baby pic with the more views won. I had the baby in a bikini, a very cute one not something sleezy but cute with sun glasses and then I put a caption of having fun while tanning.
She overwhelmingly won a $150 Baby"s R US gift certificate it was fun.

Wow, that's so cool! I'm sure you spoiled your child with that voucher!
My friend will win a R4000 voucher to spend at @Home which is a large home decor store. R4000 is about $570.
