Have you ever been to the Halloween specials at theme parks (e.g. Knott's Scary Farm, Universal Studios Horrow Nights, etc.)? I've never been to one before, but many of my friends want to take me this year. It's probably because I get scared so easily, and they want to see me get scared, lol! I'm kind of creeped out by the mazes and the monster-actors that actually chase you and touch you! I think I'd much rather go to Disneyland for halloween.

I've never been to a horror amusement park, but I have wanted to go. I like the thrill of being scared when there is no real danger or threat. I don't know if I will be able to go this year, but I do hope to go to one eventually.

I was always scared of those haunted house things! Here's a funny memory for you, you'll laugh...I taught my boys from a very young age to protect themselves. When my youngest was in first grade and the oldest in second grade we went to a school-sponsored Halloween carnival night and I let them go into the funhouse. I did not know that there were "monsters" in there! After a minute or so I heard a scream and a great ruckus and my youngest ran out the door into my arms. Turned out a "werewolf" had jumped out and tried to grab him and since they were in a corridor and there was no way out, my son kicked him where it counted and ran! I hope you have fun! Just remember, none of it is real....unless, of course, the owner has been murdered and replaced by an identical, psychopathic twin who is using real monsters, real weapons and is taping the tours for his own sick enjoyment.
