old vs new

I personally cannot bring myself to watch the new nightmare on elm street movie. Robert Englund made that movie series so incredible and nobody else could ever top what he did. He had the creepy killer down pat. Has anyone seen the new movie? What are your opinions?

You're not going to believe your eyes after I told you I am an professional movie watcher just a few hours ago on another thread, but... I have never seen EITHER Nightmare on Elm Streets. I know, I know! It's insanity! Although, I must admit, if I were to see either, I would stick with the first one.

Hahaha, I know, I know! He has a small role though, doesn't he? Either way, it is a goal to see all of Depp's films (just like I will see every film Nicole Kidman has been in and every film that Tom Hanks has been in; oh and Kate Winslet :)) so I will see it eventually! Haha.

I actually saw it the new nightmare on elm street and I agree. Nothing beats the original. The new Freddy Kruger doesn't even look like the original. I usually don't like remakes anyways.
