Do you prefer to give money or food to the poor?

hi dags! same here, i also tend to give money to the street children. i had an experienced with this street child where i have given him money because he told me that he wants to buy slippers, since he walks barefooted i felt pity. so i gave him 20 bucks and i remember his face before he left. the next time i saw him, 2 weeks ago from the time ive met him, i thought i would see the slippers he bought. unfortunately, he's still walking barefooted. i felt sad and a bit disappointed then, because he's primary reason was to buy a pair of slippers. but i just kept to myself that there's still to looked up to, i just thought that he bought something more important to him than the slippers. i thought of he bought food to fill he's stomach. and when you give, give it all. no regrets just give. for God will give it back to you. :)

I prefer to give food to poor peoples. Because I think if I give him money then they can misuse it. I think if I gave them food then their hunger become remove and also they think well about this. So I always prefer to give food to poor peoples.
