President Noynoy's Trip very Funny :D

Hello lotters, this was his 2010 trip since 1999, wow i never knew Noynoy would wear such a nice Formal attire.I wonder, is it possible that Pnoy didn't want to travel because he probably wants to avoid his ex girl friend who happened to be a Flight Attendant on one of the Planes in PAL. i bet she resign now because of PAL employment problems. But here's the funny thing. i guess in order for him to be different, he decided to ate REGULAR HOTDOG at a regular hotdog stand in New York. with tight security coming from the Secret Service I hope upon his return, there's progress with his talks with other WORLD LEADERS.

Hello Letran, I just came from the hot topics and I can't bypass your post. Have been reading upstairs too and I can say he's trip wasn't funny at all. In his heart, he really prefer to have the guts to just be who he really is and not care to all about the people who refuse to accept him for who he really is. I think your president is a genuine one. I Have seen the richest man here in my area greeting and smiling to to everyone, drive his car by himself, eat with his fingers, and kudos as he act and make everything like an ordinary person.

hi letranknight and oOpakOo , i dont think that is a publicity stunt. the media just over reacts to these kind of news topics. being the highest ranking official doesnt have to be so stiff and unenjoyable. he is just like everyone.. a person who likes to eat hotdog for once. lets give him a break. eating a hotdog is not a sin. even for a president. let's focus on the next news. will he be able to bring investments in our country? that should be the news of the season. mabuhay ka. ann

Wow....a VVIP and can still eat in public. That is what we call...down to earth president. He is unmarried? So he must be the most eligible bachelor in the Philippines.

I know, it was so humble of him, I read it in the article of yahoo philippines that, Philippines President Noynoy Aquino went to IN and OUT BURGER STORE IN SANFRANCISCO. with his members. It said that they eat like a child. so humble because, i can't believe he is doing it, for crying out loud, he is A PRESIDENT, but i am one of his fan now..so good luck mr. president..you may have a good health, happy life.

I dont care if he eats hotdogs, bagels, or fishballs on the streets as long as he can make some improvement with the Philippines economic situation.

It only shows what he really is: a man who enjoys simple pleasures in life. He craved for hotdog so he looked for a hotdog stand.

Helo hatley, I do remember OBAMA taking a burger stand with the Vice President. of course, they were tons of media people. as for Noynoy, maybe it has been long while since he went to United States. that's probably why he decided to take a stroll and allow himself to enjoy the scenes in New York.

Hi there letranknight, I watched TV patrol a while ago and surprised to know about Pres. Noynoy eating on hotdog stand in New york. I really admired him for being a simple person. Imagine a President was eating on public its a plus points for him. If i'm not mistaken he just paid for about $52-54 I just hope Pnoy, will be a good president and he will change our country

Hello Kmaram, Yeah, that's probably good enough knowing that he too is saving something for less. 54$ isn't a big deal anways since fast food there in the US is really expensive. this is what i admire him in this occassion. but still we need to monitor if he's really going to bring good jobs for the country.

hello letran, I don't find this funny but cute. Imagine a president eating along that side walk. Well, maybe he just want to enjoy the freedom, becoz he can't do it here in our country. This only shows that Pres.Noy,is still had a kid at heart, and that he misses those years of playing without guard,or,just like what he did,he wants to try how it is to be an ordinary human being. I like that idea...and i guess,if he will be given a chance he wants to ride a bicycle

Hello Sis, that's true, it's really cute.well, you don't see him walked like that when you're in your own country and eat fish balls. i think he has the right to do so. unlike the past president allowing an expensive dinner.well, he can't go out with out the use of the body guards.

I saw that one in the news awhile ago, Knight. My husband and I was actually laughing about it and thought what the _ _ _ _ is he doing? LOL Funny it may seem but it isn't really funny at all considering that he is acting like a little child. Is he on a vacation trip that he acts like that? H e is supposed to be in a formal event, on a duty as the leader of our country. I don't know , Knight. It seems that our country's future lies in the hand of a five year old boy. Sorry .... but this is what I feel....

Hello Eureka, He hasn't had a nice break since he got into office, not to mention facing that terrible hostage fiasco. i think what he's doing is a reminiscence of what he was doing there when her mother was alive at the time of martial law. nothing serious about it until he gets killed. Were assuming and expecting too MUCH for a person who hasn't been that long in public service. I didn't vote for him, but it's not even a year yet. i think he just wanted to do it since he doesn't travel that much.

I did not vote for him, either, Knight. I have nothing against him personally but what I see is that he isn't ripe enough yet to handle the most sensitive and highest position in our country. He is still too young for that. On second thought, maybe you are right that we have expected so much from him. It is so easy for us to criticize him because we are not in his shoes. Being a president is a tough job... Let's give him another chance, then and we'll see what he can do the next days or years... Anyways, I have nothing against the President eating a regular hotdog in the sidewalk of New York.

Hi letran knight25. to be honest, i dont find it funny... in fact, i find it so ... unbecoming to see a leader eat in a regular hotdog stand in New York. I do understand that he wants to lessen expenses of the administration and he makes sure that his US visit wont be termed "garish" compared to GMA's. I also know that PNoy is but a simple man with very simple lifestyle, even until now, he visits music stores personally. You can notice that in the way that he makes his speeches, he cant even speak straight english and his knowledge of political terms are quite... not so impressive compared to the likes of GMA, Ramos and Marcos. It is just that... yes he can be fond of hotdogs but please... being a high political figure... can he at least do it discreetly by asking someone else to buy it for him? What was he trying to prove? Furthermore, he is exposing himself to danger if he goes out just to satiate his whims. Is that being simple or being clumsy or being thoughtless? What if someone tries to kill him in his favorite music store? Harmless people can get killed. I am sorry... I just dont like him.. that's all. I dont care what other Filipino mylotters would think of my post here. it wont be the first time that i'd hear a Pnoy voter telling me to stop comparing Pnoy to GMA or that time is still young for him so i better not judge him yet. Whatever!

Hello Gracee, I don't find it offensive since he's saving a lot of money compare to the likes of now CGMA. despite the facts that he is exposing himself, that's his choice an his risk. well, he hasn't visit of shore since 1999, at least give him a benefit of a doubt that he just wants to enjoy and stroll the place. How can he be the threat, when he's the President of a Third World Country. i doubt so, besides, he's just beginning his administration, not even close to a year yet. as for me, it's not about how he speaks but how he EXECUTE things in his administration.....

That's fine with me as the hotdog is just a few dollars. You always wonder why hotdog is associated with New York and I guess he did not want to miss out on that little fun. Unlike Gloria who will only dine in the best restaurants using taxpayers' money and then claim that somebody else paid for it.

Hello advocate, I can't believe the injustice in that for her agreeing to eat in a 20,000 dollar restaurant. treat coming from a local politician who's province is predominantly settled by Poor people.so, there's so many doubtful assertions there. and the fact that his son comment that what is the decency of the President not eating on a expensive restaurant? wow, poor people don't eat there, therefore she didn't represent the people on that day. at least Pnoy did us a favor of only of his 50$ food relief.
