Britain has declared war on Christmas

For those of you who don't live in the U.K, the second largest city in the country has renamed Christmas 'Winterval' due to political correctness. Some people were told to take their Christmas decorations down by the council! All for one reason: they believe that Christmas offends other religions!! I find it a complete load of codswollop. I love other cultures festivals so why can't they do the same for us? You can't ban Christmas! Next they'll be shooting Father Christmas right out of the sky and putting his reindeers into sancturies ready for rehoming! Madness! Any opinions?
