Is anybody here maintains their own blog? If so, what kind of topics you discuss there? Does your blog only has a single theme in its content (e.g. blogs that only concentrate on music related issues) or do you post any topics you choose?
I'm interested to know because I am planning to make my own blog, but I'm a little bit undecided on how to tackle it. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi lilmisfit!
I've had lots of blogs but I only get to keep just one now. My blog is more like a journal where I write everything and anything I can think of. It's a log of my experiences and everything that I wish to fulfill in the future. Blogging is very personal for me coz it sort of stands as a reminder for me - lessons I've learned and the goals I've set for myself. I don't really care whether my blog gets the attention of many or not. I'm contented with the idea that there is a space where I can freely express myself. I also use my blog to inspire others in my own little way. It's heartwarming when people send me messages of how much they were touched by my entries. Give blogging a try, it'll not only enrich you but others as well.

Thanks for the encouragement! I admire your view about blogging. I think the line "I write to express not to impress" suits you.

I have a blog that discusses only one topic in each of my blog. Why? Because by discussing only one topic in each blog, we'll find it easier to organize each of our blog.
If you want to create a blog, I suggest to create a blog that will continue to grow and will not make us lose the idea. Its purpose is to create a blog that will continue to make us have an idea to post so that it will continue to have regular posts from you. Because, your readers will be pleased with the blogs that continue to present a new post that they can read.

You have a good point of having one topic per blog. The dilemma is what topic to choose XD Thanks for the tips! I'll keep those in mind. :)

Since cooking is one of my interests, so I have a blog about DIY cooking. I upload the recipes and photos there and share my cooking tips with others. I can also regard it as my cooking collection. When I want to cook something again, at least I can check it easily.
I love China

Yes. Not only one, but some.
There is a common blog I own containing common information and daily living, all about me. I also have a website dedicated to talk about motivation, because I am a trainer and my audiences can visit that website to read and lift their spirits.
There is also a personal blog that is really personal. Means, only I myself write and read. It's just like a very private diary where I can store something which I think not common for public eyes.
I also have Youtube's blog anyway, where I talk about my hobby as Star Wars lover! You may go to www.youtube.com/user/ramadityaskywalker.
PS: Sorry I did not give you any of my blog address, because the blogs are in Indonesian, so you cannot read it.

yes i have a blog, and its worth more than single category like softwares,games,e-books,earn money.creating a blog using more categories difficult because you have to find lot of contents for to update regularly,
as a my experience start a blog or a website with single type of category best suits you to update.main benefit of single category is you can easily submit to directories and visitor can find his/her favorite content of interests.
