Now in the age of internet, reading books does not seem as important as it once was.do you think people can learn as much on internet as they can by reading books? Which method do you prefer? why?
the follow is my opinion. give me your idea.
In my opinion,I don't agree that "reading books does not seem important as it once was".Internet or books are just like tea or coffee. They are similar, but they are different.University students nowadays love to use internet to search for information when they working with essays.Because it is very more convenient to search for information than to read books. But when you are on a trip, you will find that a book is very convenient and you need not some other things, such as power, network and so on. they are both important.

Honestly, I am not really a wide reader of books. We cannot deny the fact that a huge population of the youth of today are really inclined in the world wide web. The internet has been our source of updated information. But still I believe that nothing beats the credibility of books. Not all internet sources are credible. Internet information did not really undergo thorough edits and evaluation unlike published books. There are no gatekeepers in the world wide web which gives too much freedom to anyone who wishes to publish their articles online. I do find both of them, the books and the internet as important sources of information.

No i think is quite diffeent so normally on the net you can find almost all resources you need normally you can choose the net when you need a quick reference or info about a topic surely this little work wouldn't substitute at all a normal book where you can find also many other things on the topic..so in my opinion internet wouldn't substitute books in general but it cna be useful for differente purposes probably the faster needs..

Sometimes I like to read on internet. Because I think sometimes when we don’t find any particular solution in a book. Then it is a best way to search those topics on internet. And I think mostly we can find our result on Wikipedia. So I think it is a good way to reading on also on internet. I also like to reading on internet. Because I have many websites related to programming languages. Because I am a student of IT field. So I want to learn many programming languages. So I have a website w3schools.com. Yes really it a very good website for me. Because I find many things their. So I am agree with this it is good to read sometimes also on internet.

Yes, for I read the book still represents something fun. Indeed, when viewed from the side of completeness, the Internet is far more complete than the book. For me, reading from a book easier to understand than reading from the internet. When we needed a break we can just close it, and will re-read it when we stay open the last page we read. And I chose the book was more important to its existence than the Internet.

I prefer on internet it is because I've been gathered more information through the net rather in books. Books sometimes have a less info. What is the best in the net too is the news headlines, I can recall all the news that has been for a months or even a years. I only read pocket books in my spare time.^^, like romance pocket books.:D

Well yes and no i think that people that read all day don't learn that much i think the best way to learn is to get up and do it ones self. and yes i think that the internet has made it much easier to learn because now you can see someone do something it try it yourself instead of reading and wondering it you are doing it right

If I had to choose between the 2, I would actually prefer to buy a physical book. Sure, you have to get the paper to put the book together, which comes from trees, but in the case of eBooks, it is only a digital packet, and those can get destroyed easier than a book can. I used to think the opposite way around, but imagine this: What if all the major computer networks failed or become obsolete? How would we recover the data for an eBook? It isn't physical, so it won't last long if something like that happens. For now, the internet is a nice thing to have, but one day something else may replace it, and none of this will last. This site won't even be around forever, even though it is trustworthy and will last a long time, most likely.

Let me take a wild guess.Do you come from China ?If you want to improve your english on mylot ,you had better get to know about some grammers in the first place.Joke apart,In my mind ,both of them are indispensible for me now .Books are healthier than reading online .However, the internet can offer any information i am searching for ,which embarrasses books .So i use both of them .

I think it depends on situation. If i am to sit for an exam, i would prefer to have books to read. However, i would also like to find sample exam questions and other related materials from the internet to further increase my knowledge. As for working, i would more likely to refer for internet than to a book.

When there was no internet yet , i spent half of my free time reading books. This habit of mine started at around 6th or 7th grade. This has help me to be well informed. Even up to now i still read books when commuting and traveling. Reading has help me also to accept the coming of the internet age. It has help me adjust to the internet age. Even before internet age came here(Philippines) i have already read about it. Have tried as soon as its available here. To me there seems to be no difference in terms of information and digesting it. I do agree that the internet allows us to get the needed information in fast and efficient way. To me I would use both since they are available for us now.
