I live in ground floor. one day a stray dog puppy started cry at my door, I opened to see about what is that sound. When I opened the door, a little puppy started to climb 3 stairs before me to reach me. At first I thought it's crying for its mother and if its mother sees me it will get angry and leave the baby alone, so I closed the door. After some time, a little enthuasiam about the puppy made me to open the door. Suddenly it was right at my feet,I hurriedly took some milk from refrigerator and poured in a plate a kept infront of it, it just had 2 sips and stopped crying. Now what should I do? My husband don't like dogs at all. The puppy is little, If I leave it like that it will die or If I start caring my husband don't like it(wright now he is in the office) or it's mother leave it forever.what would you do if you are in such a situation.

caught in a dilemma over whom to select: a man or a dog. Well we all know who is more faithful. Just kidding, as long as the puppy doesn't poops around in your house, your husband should not have any problem with the puppy. Talk him into confidence.Good luck.

I think I will take it because if not the puppy will not survive.
Well its almost impossible to get a dog for free here unless your friend had a female dog and ask them to give you one. I think the population not as much at your place.
Don't give milk to the puppy you will make him get diarrhea. Puppy can not digest lactose from cow milk because its has different structure with dog milk.

In my place there are many stray dogs. And each house has one dog. Even in day time if any new person enters the street all the dogs bark one after the other. so we can guess some new person entered the street.
Thank you for sharing the information that "cow's milk is not good for puppy's health".
Good news, the puppy is now safe with his mother. And when he comes back, now there is no problem, I will keep the puppy with me. other than mother's milk what kind of feeding must be done to the puppy. Let me know. When he comes back I want to help him

Good Morning dear Sreesai , ohhh i could not give you the proper advice , since myself i'm a super huuge dog lover , and if i were to find such a small puppy at my door , i would never let him get hurt , i would of done the same thing as you did , and that is to take the little puppy , put him at safe side ( wich would be in my house ) and give him something to eat , then i would take him with me and get out to search for its mother , since the cow milk it is less more effective then its own mothers natural milk , but even so , even ifi manage to find the mother , i would not think that i would be able to give it back , but rather try to take the mother and her little pupiys with me , and give them shelter , for the time that the puppy manage to get to open their eyes first of all ,and then keep the mom of the pupy with her little baby's at my house , and take photos of them , and put anounce in all the cofee bars that are in my village , to give the little puppys for adoption , and then try to take care of the mother , i would keep the little pupy that were in front of my house , togheter with he's mother and try to find a new familly for the other little baby dogs , once they have the proper age to be far from theire mothers , i am saying this , because i have my own place , and i live alone , i have no wife to complain , and even if i would have i would not care that she doesn't likes the pupy's ( even thou' i doubt it )As for your case i will try to convince your husband to keep the little baby and if he doesnt agrees , then i would search for a familly whom's willing to accept the little baby creature and adopt it.
I really hope that you find a way to help that little poor lost soul , since he really needs a helping hand , he needs to be love , taking care off and peace.
I wish you the best and a great day dear Sreesai/
Florin

Good morning bagputza. you are very kind hearted. I too love animals. we had a farm in my village where my parents livr, there I used to take care of our cow calfs, and our dog cezer. But I have to respect my partners oponions too. Anyway I made my husband to agree for staying the little puppy with us. But after some time puppy's mother came and the puppy went with his mother happily. I heard no more cry from the puppy.

Is there some kind of shelter or other organisation that helps animals near where you live? If so, you should take the puppy there! If there isn't, I would still take care of the puppy I think, your husband will get used to the idea!

No, I live in a rural sort of area. It's being developing area. I thought of the same before, but no organization is near by. Good news the puppy is happy. He went with his mother happily. If he comes back no problem. I convenienced my husband to keep the puppy with our family.
