I have a cat who absolutely loves the sight of geckos. He keeps looking at the front window all day waiting for them to come back and when they do he talks to them making weird squeeking noises and when they get closer to the bottom of the window he jumps up to try and get them although they are on the other side of the window. He will sit in front of the window for hours waiting for them and looking for them. I can't believe that they are that exciting for him. He would even leave his food in preference of waiting for the geckos. But its cute.

Sounds like your cat would like to eat the geckos. That "squeeking noise" sounds like the chattering that a cat makes when it is sees prey - especially if they cannot get at it.

Where do you live?
There are no geckos around where I live.
My mom's old cat thought a plant was his. He would go after people that would touch the plant. Even when my mom would water the plant he would go after my mother. He would try to get in the plant and bite the leaves. We thought it was funny but aggravating plus we didn't know if it was healthy and was scared that he was eating the plant.
My cat will look outside and stick his head through the blinds or around the blinds. He is just looking outside though. My cat is scared to go outside. He is an inside cat and never goes outside. If we leave a door open he will peek outside but that is about it.

I live in Australia. We were forced to move into a caravan park. We aren't allowed cats where we are but it was either sneak the cat in or give the cat away. We love the cat and no way could we give him up. The thought of giving him away never crossed our minds.

How big are the geckos? Our cats eat lizards when they can catch them. Since we don't have hose cats at this time our lizards are getting very big.

That is sooo cuuuute! Cats are so adorable. Normally, they are not as interested in "things" like dogs are interested in "all things"! So to have your cat interested in geckos is cute. Wait....maybe he wants to eat em!

Our cats are weird. Most cats are affectionate and sweet.. well ours will ignore you unless they want something. They rarely cuddle and they attack our dog.. it is really bad they way that they go at it on a daily basis. The dog is sleeping right now but I know as soon as he gets up he will be pestering the cats and then the cats will chase him out of the room that he is in.
