Do you like the TV series friends?

I used to avoid the show at all costs as it was so predictable, since living with my partner I have been watching it much more as she has all 10 seasons, having watched it more I'm wondering if my former dislike of friends was a bit bigoted.
What do you guys think of the show and have you ever disliked a show and ended up actually quite liking it?

No, that has never really happened to me, that I changed my mind completely about a tv show, that is. But I do love Friends, and always have. It is a great show, after all! Especially Ross is very funny on the show!

One of the reasons I got into it is the clever scrip writing, how little things in the show that seem arbitrary pop up later in a funny context, the show maintains this at a high level and I'm pretty impressed. Gotta say that Chandler is my favourite!

Your partner sounds like a very intelligent individual with good tastes. Friends is a classic show with excellent story lines. You should be thanking her for introducing you to this wonderful show, maybe by buying her a large, expensive gift or a giant cookie.

yea she is pretty clever but I'm not so sure about the cookie, funny thing is we have very different taste and so end up introducing each other to new things often so it's all good!
