Charice on Glee

I am ashamed that it took Glee (oh how I love that show) to introduce me to Charice. She really is going to be an interesting character. I loved her innocence in the "Telephone" sequence. I'll admit, I was suprised she got thrown in Vocal Adrenaline by the end that episode. I look forward to more of her.

Charice rocked that season premiere!!! We all know that her character will be recurring so it's not the last of we'll see of her.... As of jumpstarting her career... I say enjoy your 15 minutes... As all the other stars of Glee, it is to their own merit if they'll make bigger names of themselves outside of Glee...

Confirmed news about Charice on Glee is that she'll re-appear on episode 6. I wish she'll have more airtime on Glee. She really made Filipinos prouder than ever. Correct me if I'm wrong, I think she's the only Filipino who reached that superstar status in Hollywood. Her appearance on Glee surely opens up for more opportunities in Hollywood.

I hope there will be a twist. Charice impressed a lot of people. My of my this girl's talent in singing and even acting has been really developed. In fairness to Charice, aside from her fabulous voice, her acting skill is also remarkable. The progress of her character all depends on the writer's decision. However, if they will see an increase in viewership now that Charice is already there it is easy to tweak her character and make her stay. In fact, they even have the ability to make her the star of the show.

I think there's great potential in her character. I love watching both New Directions and Vocal Adrenaline perform. The fact that she will be the star of Vocal Adrenaline means that we can still keep hearing great solo performances from the original Glee cast. My guess is that she will be too busy as a regular cast member on Glee and her recording career to be able to launch a full on acting career right away. Glee requires a huge time commitment recording, filming, and touring not to mention all the promotion they do across the country. After Glee she can do whatever she wants however including acting although she might find Hollywood a bit limiting in its roles for Asian females.
