A Very tricky question.. I am Roman Catholic (Christian) but was started in religion as a Methodist (Christian)... When I was in my Teens I travelled around the world and visited countries like Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Japan, Malaysia & China. Through these visits I was exposed to the Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Orthodox (Greek) and other religions. It brought me to the conclusion that we all have the same "G*D" but see him from different angles. So it doesn't matter what you call your G*d he is my G*d too and mine is yours.

your religion is the one where you were born into but it does not mean that you may stick to that religion if you think it is not what you think is a right religion for you. you can resarch other religion and decide.

Hi, TareqFayyad! I was very disappointed.. and sort of decided "there has to be more to life than just the everyday of working, eating, sleeping, etc" and so I decided to study the world religions and philosophies.. I was going to the big libraries to study these things and took out many books, etc. And was also studying astrology and meditation. And also would go camping in the foothills of the U.S. Rocky Mountains. One day as I was sitting there, alone in the mountains, contemplating.. It seemed as though I could see a thought come toward me across the blue, blue sky. And then the thought hit me right in the forehead and what it said was "in astrology, you've been learning about all the forces at work in the universe. What about the force that created the universe? And what if that thought has consciousness?" It seemed to hit me very quickly, and it was like a light bulb flashed on, and my thought was "God..!" - And then my whole life changed from that moment on. I had been practicing meditation with a teacher, and my symbol to hold in my mind/forehead to keep my mind quiet (so I could 'hear' God) was an eight-pointed star (*). After awhile I came across a "bible track" at my neighborhood post office, someone had left. The title was "God's Great Plan Of Salvation" and I couldn't understand it. Then began to, and prayed "if this is true, and I can be God's fully accepted friend, freely welcomed, etc, please let me know." I prayed this four times, then went out to the living room, I was home alone, which was unusual. Immediately when I sat down, I noticed a radiant eight pointed star was filling the screen of the television set across the room. The sun was setting over the mountains and was shining through one inch between the closed (or almost closed) curtains, and it formed my meditaion symbol radiantly on the off television screen. Well, a very small 'miracle' but I just knew it was a message in answer to the prayer I had been so seriously praying, most of the afternoon and just moments before. - Later I found out this is the star of bethlehem, which the 3 wise men had followed to the birth of the Son (and the 3 wise men were "astrologers from the east" / arabian very wise men) - I now realize that we all die, because imperfection came into the world, due to man and angel having been endowed with thinking ability (for this includes the ability to choose) But God is Life, and Perfection, so to wander from God in any teeny, tiny way is to move away from Perfection/ thus Life(God) - Of course the great God knew all that would occur, so He sent the Son to check angel and mankind's journey away from Life.. Now we can all freely pursue and draw near to God, and this is what 'saves' us. - P.S. God is Perfect and all powerful, so the end result (of life and history) can only be the utter BEST end result. And then shall paradise be restored and thoroughly UNbreakable, for all will know, by experience, good from evil. blessings to you..

i was brought up in a christian family with christian parents. nothing made sense to me at all, i was interested and i didnt believe in alot of stuff. i found wicca a few years ago, and it made complete sense to me, all my questions have been answered and i am completely content with my religion now. i dont think that because my parents are christians and im wiccan makes neither of us wrong nor right, and honestly it doesnt matter. as long as ur happy with what u believe in.

God's House - House of Prayer
I was bought up by Christian parents, so learnt Christian values as a child. As an adult, I have read a lot about other religions, and this includes other branches of the Christian religion as well as other religions. After all this reading, I am very happy with my own religion, although I will pray in any Church should I feel the need to so do, and go to the nearest one, irrespective of what religion it is. There is only one God and he is the same one whether we are Christian, Hindu, Orthodox, Jew or Muslim.

Once you are an adult you are free to choose whatever religion you prefer. I personally gave up my religion in order to find my own true path. I am much better this way, without someone telling me how, when and where I should worship and making up rules "in the name of God". I choose how, when and where to worship and there are no rules. I treat others the way that I expect to be treated, simple as that. I believe that God loves us unconditionally and rules made by religion are only to suit someone else's agenda, not mine.

I was brought up in a quite fundamental black stocking religion. God was always spying on you and because my parents were divorced there was no way he would let me in Heaven, because the sins of the parents are visited on their children and their children's children. When I was old enough to leave home and make up my own mind I decided I was never going to care about a God like that. I like the buddhist approach best - live and let live. Do not kill, do not be nasty, try and respect all live on this planet, including your own.
