My cousin buying a house

My cousin has been longing to purchase his own house for long while. After a couple times of bidding and failures, finally, he strike a deal. 30 minutes from his parents' house though. That will be a foreclosure house from Fannie Mae, and they offer a great program. My cousin doesn't have much down payment for the house, but he has pay over $1,200 per month installment, for 30 years. The catch is, he has to work extra hard, he might need to get a part - time job to pick up the payment, plus daily expenses too. Anyway, it is great to have your own place though. I envy him for that. I still living with my parents, but hopefully one day, I save enough money to get my own place. I won't want a 30 years deal. Somewhere much shorter than that, that is my goal.

a house is nice to own but it costs so much in upkeep. stay with your parents and save your money!

My current plan is staying with my parents. Until I earn myself some big bucks, I would definitely considering moving out, and getting my own place. Not that easy I know, but I still have to try. I am not a mama boy anymore.

Hiya KP., Congratulatoins to him being able to get a House then that is great news for a change. Of course the monthly payments are a bit of a bind but then you get used to it and find ways of having a bit of extra cash to keep you going too. Very nice to have your own place yes and in the long run its worth it. Okay it´s 30 years to pay but then I think about all the money I have to spend on rent. So it is much better to have something of your own if you can.xxx

Buying a house surely is one of the main expenses or necessity! I'd love to buy a house in London, Berlin, Las Vegas, Tokyo and Dubai! All the hot real estate market cities of the world! I'm not buying them just for making a profit but also living sometimes when I travel to these cities, because these cities are also my favorites.
