For certain occasions and matters we have to produce our I.Ds. A name card serves the purpose some times. But, some times, a photo I.D. is asked. I would produce my driver's license for such occasions. It depends on the reason and the place where one lives too I suppose. What do you use as your I.D. ? Do you use driver's license or some other I.D. ?

almost all our I.D. here in the philippines has pictures. the postal I.D., the baranggay I.D., even our NBI I.D., has pictures too. i present I.D. when i need to get a package or there is a very important letter that needs my I.D. before they hand it to me. I also need an I.D. if i will open an account at banks and some similar things to do like that.

I'm in the US. If it's school related, then my school ID. If it's not, then my driver's license is my default. I also have a military ID (my dad's retired Army), but I seldom use that one.

I always used my driving license as my Id. Because I think driving license are acceptable everywhere. So there is no harm to use it as your ID Proof. Mostly times when you purchase a sim card for mobile then you need proof of your ID. So I think driving license is the best way for you to show it as your ID. Because it is always in our pocket.

I live in Greece so ID and license is the same kind of thing. I can even use both of them if I want to travel at a country that is in the European Union with no need ofa passport

I live in UK and no matter what the occasion i always use my driving licence, its recognised by pretty much everyone and doesnt give doubt to anyone about if its fake or genuine. Ive never had any problems using it and unlike a passport ( which i know some people use ) it isnt too expensive to replace if you lose it.
