I got friends who have large house compounds with a bungalow in the middle with rich parents and hence he have some exotic pets which some are smuggled and some are ordered. He loves the albino burmese python because it is big and now can swallow rabbits and chicken as meal , he also rear a pair of Pirahnna in a huge aquarium which he feed with little chunks of beef or chicken and some dog can foods!. He also have a pair of pit bulls which are fierce and yet loyal guard dogs. Do your have stories of pets that people rear and for wat reasons? Thanks for sharing.

I also want to have piranha too, in a safer aquarium, perhaps I'll use a fiber glass with a cover on top so that no one gets hurt by accident. Our neighbor have lion, tigers, Japanese monkeys and other animals that can be seen only in zoo. I don't know how they own that endangered animals on their backyard.

Wow , rearing lions and tiger are rare in my place here because it is endangered species. However , my countries prince and some of the royal families does have tiger lion and crocodiles in their farm palace. Inbreeding of tiger and lions are dangerous and will doom the whole forest population if releashed.

Actually we don't have these kind of animals in our country, usually we import it for us and the next generation to see what it looks like. Maybe they have connection or friends in custom? Really? Are we allowed to enter their place? Are they open for tourist? Kidding.

I'd love to have a capybara, if I could afford it. Owning a 90lb rodent seems weird, but many owners on forums praise how intelligent and cuddly they are. Even protective to an extent.
