When I was a little kid, i thought greenhouse was like planting trees on our rooftop to make it look green. It was I know a very stupid idea, but then, now that I am 24 years old and our world looks very polluted, I thought of this crazy idea again. Would it be possible planting trees, vegetables or fruits on rooftops? If you own a house and doesn't have space for planting trees, would you go for like planting on our rooftop?

There is such thing in cobb houses. I believe that's the material the house was made of. I was watching a video on youtube and saw some plants built on the roof of the house. I believe it was placed there to be better heat the home in the winter and cold nights and days. Cobb housing is made from dirt, manure (I believe) as well as other natural resources.

That'd be crazy. I guess in condos and other commercial buildings, they do that but on a residential structure, i don't think that's advisable.
