Can Samsung Galaxy S Kill iPhone 4?

This idea came up when I went to the shopping center and check some phones and just realized that samsung just release new phone and they are comparing it to the new released Iphone4.I also want to know every opinion of mylotters if what's the best and what's not?My fiancee and I also talked about it and he explained that Iphone is nice if it's without contract but if you can fine a phone already same specs then I go for other androind phones where it's cheaper and better.
Now what I wanna ask is,what do you think will stay in the market?

i never liked the iphone as a general device so in my opinion nokia,samsung or even ther brands should resutl much better especially in mobile communication!!So it is true that the new galaxy is realy improved,features are improved and the mobbile processor good too!!
So in reality i was never convicted by android os...it is like a false brothers in realtion to the linux mobile systems as well!!So it is true that this os is based on linux kernel but as regards graphic,functionality and vene policies connected to this os never gave the impression to be a real good mobile os!!
