Do you think bad things will happen to you?

When you do bad things, do you think bad things will happen to you? I had a thought just now, it is saying that when you do a bad thing, bad things will happen to you, but do you think god will punish you for the bad things you have done? Or is it the evil side that punishes you? Do you think god punishes people with bad things to learn discipline? Why do you do bad things? Is it brought up by evil unto you? Or is it that humans are just naturally evil? Or maybe god is turning people evil then tries to make them good so they will learn by making mistakes (bad things), or like a set up? I think that is a weird analogy in my mind. It's questioning the technicalities of a power that is beyond people's imagination and it all came from my head? Is it wrong to asks these kinds of questions?

actually sometimes i get into this weird thinking that bad things are gonna happen to me....but i know i shouldn't be entertaining those kinds of thoughts in the first place... Well about God, I think yes God punishes us to discipline us, not because he wants to inflict pain.... Sometimes he allows negative things to happen in our lives in order to teach us a lesson, not because we've done something bad and we're being punished...Another belief I have is that, a bad thing may appear "bad" to human beings but it could actually be "good" for us in the end, because

Why shouldn't you entertain those thoughts? Have you lost faith? Why does it have to be bad in the start and good in the end when good things end too?

Pain is good. If you think positively you will attract bad things to you. So you believe there is heaven, or something like that? When a person does bad things, that person is only giving others the opportunity to be good, but other people get irritated and become angry and sometimes they do violence. Do you think those who inflict violence are the good?

sorry i don't agree with your way of thinking...and i'm sure you don't agree with mine. i'm just sharing it here because that's what mylot is all about.... i don't have to convince you to believe in what i believe in.... and yes those who inflict violence are good if the person being inflicted deserves it and if it's the only way to fulfill a good purpose ... it's like chemotherapy. u need to experience the pain to get the benefit of it. BUT pain NEVER feels good. and i'm done explaining my point here. :) good day!

Just doing bad things will not make bad things happen to you. Whether something bad happens to you depends on your ability to stay out of trouble. If someone robs a bank and gets away, bad things will not come to that person if they know how to stay out of trouble. There are evil people in this world that do bad things every day. Nothing happens to them because they are smart and know how to work the system.

Staying out of trouble by outsmarting the system. Hmmm, cool. I wish I'm that smart. People are stupid is that what you are saying?

Yep, thats cool. Sometimes I try to become a really bad person but I suck at role playing.

People aren't stupid, they just make stupid decisions most of the time. Those who stay out of trouble are not necessarily saints. Some of them are bad people who are smart. Evil people die rich, happy, and content all of the time. Life is not like holywood where the bad guy gets caught all the time. Sometimes the bad guys enjoy a happy ending too.

Bad things have already happened to me. This is just the way it is. Bad things happen to everyone. It's not a good or evil thing, it's just life. Bad things happen because there are bad people in this world, bad things happen because some people are just unlucky, bad things happen because nature says they will, but no matter what it is, it is just life. There is good and bad in life, and you just have to take it for what it is.

It is what it is. The way we see things is the way we take them. You see it that way, I see it in an always changing patterns. My view on things are not permanent, I may stand up for one thing today but tomorrow, the next day I might change. I keep my mind open.

You mean you will notice it? Because sometimes when you don't expect something you will miss it, but if you know it's coming you'll get to see it. If I always think about the end of earth will it happen?

I think God weeps for us. We are always bad, it's a fact of life. The human condition is that of a sinful nature. However, God loves us and see's us as His children. I think that there must be consequences so God may punish, but sometimes that punishment will be a lesson well learned. He is The Father, after all. And I don't believe in "the devil made me do it" nonsense. Satan can put temptation in front of you, sure, but whether or not you CHOOSE to fall into it is up to YOU alone. We have free will. And it's definitely not wrong to ask those questions at all, friend! :)

Why can't god just get rid of the evil for us, and since we are the children of god, he must protect us from evil. Or god can't do it? Then we are here on earth just to learn lessons of life?

I'm no scholar here, haha, but I think that God doesn't get rid of the evil in us because He wants us to make the choice to fight it. To choose him over the world. And we will be protected. He is going to save us from His wrath. God can definitely do it, but it would be taking away our free will. I agree that I think that Earth is a testing stage though... learning the lessons of life and such- I like how you put it.

Personally I don't think that when you do something bad, something bad must come back to you...In that case for every good thing you do something good should happen as well! Rarely see people that someone would describe as angels get something good in their lives, even though their whole life is full of good deeds:S

If you become a really good person god will take you to heaven, so you die.

If we do bad things, than bad things will also happen to us. Why is it that many criminals do not experience what he or she has done? The answer is, that good things and bad tings will always flow. The calculation about it, only God nows. But, one thing for sure, that if we do many good deeds, then we will minimize bad things.

Words can be true and false, it is up to your mind what to believe but many times people don't care what other people say.

I always think both positive and negative sides of life,I am not optimist all the times.I always fear that if I will do this something bad will happen or if my destiny will be bad something bad will happen.Iam a restless soul at times.Whenever something good happens I think that something bad can also happen along with it.I guess God hasnt granted me hassle free mind.I believe in God and I fear him a lot.I think Iam pessimistic sometimes but yes its natural..I guess it happens with many people.

I guess if you think this way, you will see things this way huh? I always change my mind. I think many people adapt this kind of perspective in their lives.

I think God has created an automatic law on earth, it is the law of karma. it works by by send back later--in the same degree--of any energy that we release, wheter its positive energy or negative one, so that there is order harmony amongs human being automatically. Thus God can be more relaxed in Heaven.

in the concept of karma, if i have done wrong, definitely it will go back to me. and the bad news is, we don't know when or up to what extent. in law of attraction, if you feel bad things will happen to you, it sure will. you attract what you believe in. better if you think of positive things and believe it will come to you. then it will be yours. just have faith. i like your idea on people getting better when they learn from their mistakes. i will just rephrase the idea you stated god is turning people evil. he doesn't want people to become evil. he brings us into situations that will in turn have two outcomes (people being evil is one of them): either we see the challenges we had on a positive note, to make us better OR we see the challenges as God's wrath and because he didn't give us what we want, we will just resort to becoming "evil". Don't entertain negative thoughts. honestly, thinking about bad things happening to me makes me scared. just continue doing good and in whatever aspect you look at it, no bad things will happen to you :)
