American Idol fans seems not too happy about the new judges J.Lo and Steven Tyler. I don't know but I don't think their good with this. I mean they should have gotten better judge replacements from the three who left the show. I hope they will give more life to the show. Do you think they will or disaster will befall this great show?

I don't know if the show will succeed with the two new judges, but I'm sure they realize that they will be on 'trial' for their first season, and if they don't do well, they'll be replaced. I did a survey about 6 months ago, and they were asking questions about Ellen and Dioguardi. I guess they didn't like the results they got, because not too soon after Ellen announced she was resigning. Seemed too coincidental too me. I also read an article in the Hollywood Reporter that several American Idol finalists were quietly dropped from their record label. Lee Dewyze's album was a flop, too. So time will tell if American Idol can survive.

I think people are really used to watch the original judge of American Idol such as Simon and Paula. Simon was really a big part of success of American Idol. People are always waiting what Simon has to say about the contestants that really gives a spice to the show.

I really don't know. I think Jlo could be good since she's risen from nothing to be something pretty big. Either way, I'm watching and you can't help it if people decide to leave. Simon wants to go on to the Xfactor anyway and I think that is what will cause AI to start to lose ratings if it goes up against Xfactor.

we will have to see how the show will be now that we have three new judges. i concentrate on the contestants and view their talents. this will be a change, but we will have to see what comes from it.

Well actually we are very used to seeing those 3 old judges to fill the spot that we forgot at the beginning of AI, everyone also questioned why is Paula and Randy getting a seat there and Simon is no one except a British grudgy man. I better judge after the episodes aired since we never know what they can bring to the table.

The show started going downhill since they lost Paula, and I'm sure it's gonna get even worse now that Simon is gone. I'm glad that they got rid of Ellen though, cause having her on the show was a huge mistake. No offense to her or anything (I'm actually a fan) but she isn't exactly a good judge for a singing competition. Maybe she'll be good for a comedy competition (like Last Comic Standing), but definitely not something like American Idol. All she did was try to be funny. It just seemed like American Idol got desperate when they asked her to be on the show.
However, I am curious about how Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez as the new judges. J.Lo's not that good of a singer, but she's quite talented.I guess she's kinda like Paula, version 2. Steven Tyler is a rocker, and Aerosmith's got a lot of hits, but I don't really know anything else about him and his personality. I hope he doesn't try to be like Simon though.
Anyway, I'm gonna watch the first few episodes. I hope it'll be good, cause it's kinda sad to see a show that I used to really love go down the drain.

I think it is the beginning of the end. I think people really got use to Simon, and looked forward to what comments he would make. We will have to wait and see.
