How to break up with a girl?

Be honest, and be gentle. No girl wants to hear "It's not you, it's me", or any of the other old sayings, but if it's true, use it anyway. Tell her why you want to break up with her, and do it IN PERSON! E-mail or Text Message break-ups tend to leave people hurting more than they need to. Try to explain your reasoning behind it.
