Hello and welcome to mylot :) I don't envy your situation as a mother, but this is something that really needs to be dealt with quickly. Your daughter has every right to be angry and frustrated and you need to help here as much as you can. Nobody has the right to make your (or anyone elses chid) feel like your daughter does right now, she is missing out on her education and her childhood. The best thing for you to do is not to get angry yourself, but to get down to school and speak to somebody who can help you do something about it. There are all kinds of support groups and anti bullying offensives out there and you need to put them into place to prevent your daughter becoming a victim for a prolonged period of time.

You might try to find a real good taekwondo class to enroll her in. It will help with teaching her how to protect herself. It will also help boost her confidence and that will help. Plus she'll also learn self control, when she needs to defend herself and when to let it go. I don't know about where you are, but there is a class here that teaches a "karate cub" class and it is really good!

What is the old saying?? THe wheel that squeaks the most gets the most grease. Doesn't the school have some responsibility in this matter???? I think so!! Remind them. They are supposed to be teaching this kind of thing isn't right. If they ignore it, they are telling the kids it's ok.

this is a very serious problem! i think maybe you can ask your daughter's friends for help. they can help her at school. and you should let your daughter know that you love her and will support her.
