Anyone been to Cebu?

Hello mylotters.. ^.^ I am from cebu.. While reading your posts, I feel so proud of being cebuana.. ^.^ I would really say that cebu is a "pockets of beauty". It is rich in cultural history and landmarks, wonderful beaches and water falls,and of course the lechon which is so yummy..Cebuanos are also known for being hospitable and god fearing, .. ^.^ Find time to visit Cebu and you will appreciate the beauty of the island..

Been there with my mom and stepfather back in 1996, was pregnant then with my first son. We've visited some of it's tourist spots. Wished I have pictures with me, my mom have them, I vaguely recall most of them. All I can remember is the bonding me and my mom had during our visit, would really love to go back again.

i haven't yet. i'm going on friday though, so i'm pretty excited. i'm gonna go visit my friend who just moved there. i'm not sure i'm gonna be able to go do the tourist stuff though since i'm kinda tight on budget since my main goal is just to go visit my best friend.

Me! I strongly suggest that you go to Malapascua Island. The sand is almost like Boracay. The water is so crisp clean and i didnt see a jellyfish there, so it makes a good swim. Enjoy!

I've been to Cebu so many times. I leave there for 4 months because my husband was promoted and transfered to Cebu. It is a very nice place I like the food especially the lechon. I have been to Plantation bay one of the nicest beach resort in Cebu and also in Bantayan Island.

I always think that part of me will always stay in Cebu. I went there 3 years ago and until last year I thought I will never come back. Destiny had been kind in my part, that I had to go back for something inevitable. And since last year I've visited Cebu for 10 times already, and I'll be going back the week after next. Food is one reason, unlike my hometown, Cebu's food is definitely freer and sweeter in taste (take Larsian for example). Beach is second, 4 hours travel from the city, Moalboal has imprinted itself for glorious underwater life. Party, you haven't been to Cebu if you haven't experienced the streets at night. Yes. Cebu is one of the best places in the Philippines.

I am from the Philippines but I have never been to Cebu. Yes I heard it’s a beautiful city and one of the best tourist destinations in the Philippines. I think it’s about time to visit this place I hope time will permit me.

i haven't been to cebu :( i would love to go there. as well as to Bohol. my target this year though is palawan. i'm trying to save a lot of money so i could tour the best places in the philippines, while i'm still single :D

yeah, we've been there last 2009, but only to the famous landmarks like Magellan Cross & some of their old churches. Cebu is quite a big place. I haven't been to their beaches, although I heard good reviews about Bantayan Island. We took a ferry from Cebu to Bohol. I really enjoyed our Bohol trip, you can tour Bohol in a day.

I live in Cebu my entire life and i can say that it is so fine, more than fine to stay here for the rest of time. I am so proud to be a product of Cebu, to be a Cebuana.
