Many times, after watching a movie, i get very intrested in finding the book the movie was made after. And all the time i get that nice feeling inside after reading it and love the movie even more. The opposite however happens when i read the book first. The problem i think is my mind because i imagine it diffrent than the screening.
Do the same thing happen to you?

well yes sometimes i feel that going book first means the movie is will disappoint me. but ill be a little bit angry if i watch the movie first then read the book then i realize that its too different.
so even if i know it may dissapoint me, i go to book first.

if i I'm to select whether watching movies or reading books, i rather watch movie than to read book. it is because reading books for me is very bored, while watching movies are more attractive because of their effects and more easy to understand.

Honestly, I never bother to go back and read a book after I have seen the movie. However, I often delay seeing the movie in order to first read the book. Overall I prefer reading books, as I get much more entertainment and enjoyment out of it.

I prefer the movies because I do not get the opportunity to read very much and so I chalk it up to laziness. I wish I would take more time to read books but don't. I am somewhat of a slow reader and that may contribute to why I don't read very often. I do enjoy it but rarely do it/

Personally, I prefer books... I LOVE to read... but everyone also knows I'm a big old movie buff :) I think that I agree. Because once I read the book, I have the characters in my head and when you change them on me, I get confused. Plus, when you read a book you get ALL the scenes and movies have to cut certain scenes and that can cause some... frustration? I like watching original movies, though, NOT based off books but based on creativity :)

I like reading books but I prefer movies, as I like to see the characters come alive and that's something that I find hard to do whilst reading. I have also done the same as you and look up the book based on the movie, I did this with the film "Green Mile".
On the other hand I'm a huge fan of C.S Lewis and the Chronicles of Narnia and when Disney released the movie I found it hard to take in.

I prefer books. Because movie s can't be that much descriptive when considered to books. The enjoyment of reading book is a different one.

I prefer to watch movies than reading a book. It depends like "Harry Potter"-- many say that the book of "Harry Potter" is famous but when I saw the book which is very thick, it is better for me to watch movies than reading a book.

Usually, the movie is made on the book.So in that matter the movies often suck.Because you can't reanact like 300pages two or three hours. That's why I Think books are better, but I'm pretty lazy so I always watch the movies :D

I only watch movies because I don't really spend on books. I could read a manga because it has images of the characters but I have never read a book because I don't know which one should I buy if I would. I'm don't want to find myself regretting if have just bought a book that didn't satisfy me. But maybe your way of watching the movie first before reading the book could be a good thing. If I found the movie to be interesting, the most probably the book would good too. I'll start doing this too, gonna watch the movie first before reading the book. -)

I prefer movies. I'm not into books, that's why. And I think movies wouldn't take much of my time compared to books. Because, it will take days to read the whole book especially if you only have few spare time for other things.

In my case opposite has been the case.Anyway most of the time the book comes out before and the movie is later adapted from the book. In almost all cases I have read the book first and that made me interested in watching the film...In most cases I can say that the book was certainly better than the movie, but it does not diminish my interest in watching the movie...All the best and happy mylotting

Last time, I found TV play 35 segments, because it's a new movie, so internet only upload three segments online, when I watched the movies, I really want to watch the following plot, however I can't found it anymore.Suddenly,I found a book with the same name of the movie's, so I was so excited to read the story from the book, unfortunity I found the story are a little different as movie, I guess the director changed some plots as per the book. At last, I gave up to read book, and waited to watch the following plot to upload from internet.

I like to watch movies, after I was moved by the film, maybe I will find the books or the novels to read again, and when I am reading i will think of the screen picture, i think it is good.

Personally, I prefer movies with subtitles so I can read what they are saying coz sometimes the characters are speaking too fast and I cannot understand what they're saying. But as of now I haven't had the chance to watch any movie. I think I only watch 5 movies this entire year. I need to catch up on the movies I've missed.
