At the end of the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 15 verse 57, Jesus talks about being rejected in a hometown and by family. Recently, I've been realizing that the same has been happening to me. Since my re-birth in Christ, I've noticed changes in the attitudes of those close to me. I've felt the calling to become a full servant of God and Jesus, which, I am moving forward with as either a pastor or evangelist. When I made that decision not too long ago, I'm watching my wife turning away from me, along with my mother and some friends. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I'm thankful to say that my family feels as I do. So, I have not gone through what you're going through. I hope you'll be continuously faithful to Jesus Christ over and above anything or anyone else. Live your life in such a way that your family will want what you have in Christ.

I'm not giving up at all. Even though I'm personally going through tough times, I sense my faith growing deeper and stronger.

I am a catholic and my husband is a born again christian...at first it was sort of difficult because I sense "something" is between us, my faith and his. There are things or rituals that I do in respect to the Roman catholic church which he does not approve of, or which he does not believe in...but I don't mind, I respect his faith and he had learn to respect mine as well. At the end of the day, we are happy to know that we Love and Pray to the same God ; and that His love for us has kept us together all this time.
