do you still hang out with your friends as "before"?

No, my friends and I really find time to meet once a month to hang out and talk about personal issues,news, experiences learnings in life. We wanted to be in touch with each other so that we can maintain good friendship

i don't hang out with my friends like before. When i was still studying i am almost out of the house the whole day because i hang out after school or even before going to school, i have large circle of friends and i love socializing. When i had my 1st job my time for hanging out has lessen until time comes that i hang out with my co-workers more and less with my other childhood/neighborhood/schoolmate friends. When i had my serious relationship, we spent more time together than my co-workers and friends. Now that i have my own family and gave birth to my son... hanging out with my friends is the least activity i can think of-- i mentioned this because as we grow older we got more responsibilities and different priorities in life that we barely hang out with our friends anymore but friends are still important, we just hang-out with them in different level.

Chiyosan, I think this would depend on where we became friends. For example, my high school friends and I don't meet as much. But friends at work, I meet them almost everyday in the office.

I don't get to hang out with high school and college friends anymore. For one, there's not much to talk about since perhaps, interests have changed. For another, we just make comparisons which I find uneasy. I remember a reunion where after the initial hi, hello, how are you...nothing. And when we say our goodbyes, that is it until the next reunion. I find it better to hang out with current friends where we could talk of interests and experiences in common.

Just a few days ago i hang out with my high school friends after 15 long years i saw them!i am so happy.i spend most of my time working and taking care of my kids so its so hard for me to go out or hang out with friends.i am hoping that i could spend time with them again,i miss my old friends!

Ever since we got to college, we never hung out as much as we did when we were in high school. High school is different because we all had the same classes. In college it is much more different with the conflicting class schedules. Plus, I am in a different university. When we do hang out, not everybody could come. I miss the days when we were all together. I hardly ever see them, even when there are occasions.

I used to hang out with my good friends, but not now because we are all very busy with our work and family. Also because of the Internet, I would rather spend my time on the Internet in my spare time when I could have the time to use the Internet. Seldom as we hang out, we still meet and chat with each other after some time. After all, we are good friends. Take care.

no i dont. Its been years that i have not met my friends. While in college and during my first job, we used to hand out at my friends bakery. But now the situation has been changed. My friends have reached differnt parts of the world and now its a difficult thing to even keep in touch with them.

definitely there is a change to hanging out with friends these days. Some of my friends have gone to different parts of the world and others are sometimes just too busy to meet up. I have this group of friend who meet up for birthdays for nearly 20 years but recently we have only met up occasionally due to our own various commitments. Nevertheless, we do keep in touch via text messaging or facebook (which is a really great tool for connecting with the lost!).

My friends and I are really close, like family. In past years, we would hang out just about every night from sun up to sun down. But now, we have all grown up a bit, some have gotten jobs, some have entered careers, some are still in school and a few are even married now. Because of all this, we don't get the opportunity to see eachother as often as we used to but we have do have halfway decent planning skills. At this point in time, we all get together on Friday nights and do really whatever, just as long as we're spending time with eachother. Some of us moved out of state but as soon as the chance came, they moved back. We really are blessed that we have been able to enjoy eachother's company for as long as we have.

I seldom see or hang out with a group of friends. Like other says, we have different schedule, some of them already has his/her family, busy at work. I got to spend time together if there's an occasion to celebrate nevertheless we friends tend to keep in touch txt,email,call away.

I was often contact with my friends when i was in school, then, I graduated, got to work, falling love with someone. my friends also start new life.We do not call each other regularly , no more hang out each week. we only contact each other when we are sad

Thanks for posting this. It's been awhile since I last hung out with my friends from school. If not for Facebook, I would have lost that connection. I miss the times when I could just hang out with them and not worry about the following day.

I try and talk to my friends regularly but I barely get to see them now since we have all moved and they have other problems/things going on with their lives.

Sadly, I don't get to see my high school and college as much as before. However, I made new friends, those who are into the same interests as me (anime, manga, cosplay, etc) and I see them regularly cause we hang out in the same places, but I feel guilty that I don't spend as much time with my high school and college friends as much as I do with them. It can't be helped cause a lot of them are busy and are living far away, and when we plan to meet only one or two are available, which is why our gatherings are usually cancelled :( I try to talk to them online though.

Hi! I still see them now but during the most special occasions only like their wedding or birthdays of their children. Its so hard really for me to budget my time especially now that i am working but ive got no house maid to help me doing all the house hold chores which i left during week end when im at work. I only have Saturdays and Sundays to look after my daughter in straight hours plus the household chores was terribly huge that its really hard for me to socialize with my friends. I'll just text and call them because I feel that my little daughter deserves much of my time rather than me socializing with them. Good night!

i still hang out with friends once in a while but not frequent as before because of conflict w/ our class schedules. my friends w/c also my classmates that's the ones i got to hang out frequently now. but i make it a point and even my old friends to hang out whenever were not busy!!
