Who does the rating , and how does it work?

Hello expert MyLotters, I have noticed the + and - signs beside each post. If I start a discussion am I supposed to rate the responses? Would this do something to the responders level? I see stars as well, how do you earn these? ( I am sure some one has asked these before but please bear with me, I am not sure where to find the answers. )

All the answers to your questions are in the myLot FAQs. You can find them under the mylot tab, in the up - right side of the myLot window. Here's a link to them:

You can rate all discussions, responses, comments and pictures, not only the responses you get into the discussions you have started. But, as I said before, you don't need to rate ALL the responses.
