What's your favorite football player?

for me, my favourite football is gabriel omar batistuta.. even he is unlucky to get some trophies, he is still one of the best forward n world (in my mind). he can score goal from heading, pinalty, free kick, shoots...complete forward i think.

Eric Cantona is my favorite player, Eric in period Man United. I really liked his arrogance :D

I would say that Puskas Ferenc was one of the greatest football players who has ever played this game. I never saw a full game with him, because he played a long time ago, but I have seen some sequences and I can say that he was way ahead of his time. I have also heard about Gerd Muller, who was the most prolific striker in the history, Pele and Franz Beckenbauer. But I never saw them playing. I only know them from being told about them, I have seen some sequences and read about them. I think the best player I have seen playing was Zinedine Zidane, along with Lionel Messi and Xavi Hernandez. I really cannot say who was better. As for goalkeepers I would choose Oliver Kahn, who was extraordinary and a great personality. Forgive me for not choosing only one player, but I really cannot. It is too difficult.

roberto baggio was a major talent, as was the obvious one of pele, but for me someone who really did stnd out and could have been the worlds greatest was it not for injury was marco van basten.

I think Christiano Reynaldo is a great player and not bad looking.

As much as I don't care for him recently I like Brett Favre. He was an awesome player and a good man on and off the field.
