Will somebody please tell me why this program is so popular? While i was changing channels i just happened to come upon this so called reality show and decided to see what all the fuss is about.in my opinion this show is an insult to anyone from New Jersey,women, men and really anyone with any sense at all.i have yet to see a more ignorant, untalented, bunch of losers ,who do nothing but drink, curse and make utter fools of themselves and this "Snooky" person is the worst of them all.She's obnoxious, rude and without one bit of common sense. What irks me the most is the people on these kinds of reality shows are making a ton of money for acting like a bunch of idiots while really talented people can't get a break. And Jersey Shore is the worst of the bunch.

I cannot stand MTV/Viacom programming. It's ridiculous that them idiots on that show get paid so much to act like retards... and they're supposed to be cool? uh huh... keep dreaming guys, you will see how foolish it is to exploit yourself for fame and fortune.

Your very welcome ,did a little venting of my own with this post.What bothers me as well, is the popularity of this show i just don't get it. What's the attraction? i can't think of "1" single thing that would make me want to watch this fiasco of a program, once was more than enough. and as far as "exploitation" these fools have the market cornered. I love the show. I like Snooky. She is a " dumb Blonde" with black hair. Her heart is in thew right place but she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. We are opposites. I fell across it and stayed because it was fun to see what would happen next. Unlike what others say I Never thought nor Will thing All people from jersey are like this colorful bunch.It is just a fun show .

To each his own. This is probably the only excuse i can think of for anyone watching this program,solely for the fun of it.Anyone who can take these characters seriously needs to have his or her priorities checked.Thank you for your response.

There are many who see Snooki and the gang and want to be them. Not me, but I Know there is someone out there.Anything that is on T.V. will be admired and hated by someone!

I have never seen the show, but I dont think it is something I would like. Maybe peope just liketo laugh at it, I dont know, but I hope kids dont grow up thinking that is the way to act.

"but i hope kids don't grow up thinking that is the way to act"/ That's what worry's me about this program.i imagine since it's so popular, there are probably lot's of kids tuning in.What kind of a message does this send to them? drink,swear, act foolish and have no common sense and maybe you too can have your own reality show? it just boggles the mind. So glad i could be of some help to you.but, if you want to waste your time or you really have nothing better to do which i "seriously' doubt or even if you're not offended by certain behavior, then by all means watch Jersey Shore. Thank you for Believe me, nothing i mentioned in my post even comes close to the experience of actually watching this train wreck.Thank you for your response.

Jersey shore is one of my daughter's favorite programs to watch. i have seen the show with her before. i really don't see what the attraction is. All the castmembers of this show seem to do is fight and party and act very childish with each other. I could live without the show, but my tgeenaged daughter thinks it is great.@jujunme (2501)

I guess it does appeal to a certain age group ,but i'm hoping your daughter isn't impressed by the behavior here.Teenagers can be very influenced by what they see on TV and if this is her "favorite" show i'm wondering just what she finds so appealing about it.Thank you for your response.

I totally agree with what you are saying about this show, but for some reason I am addicted to this show and can't get enough of it. For some reason even though they really can be rude and do not have any common sense they make me laugh and come out of my own reality so for that I watch.
