What operating system You like Most?

My favorite Operating System was Windows XP now like more windows 7. After windows xp Microsoft introduced new one windows vista but vista have lot of problem like some compatibility issues,to overcome this problem Microsoft introduce windows 7 I think windows 7 is more and more better than xp but compare to xp system requirement is high.Linux is of the main competitor of windows,I like Linux also.Compare to windows Linux is more secure but not user friendly compare to windows.Now lot of Linux flavor available with user friendly like Ubundu.The cost of windows operating system is very high and Linux is free ware.I thing our home use choose windows operating system and in business purpose use Linux it's more secure.

Of course Microsoft produces great products, but since the company happens to be Microsoft it tends to be a spoilsport. Other than XP and 7, which are my favs as well, I like Linux Mint. I am waiting for the day when Linux outperforms MS OSes in every way, so that I could truly rate it the best. As of for now it is almost as good as XP.

Hi there , I too like Windows Xp very much as it is very simple and easy to use . Also comparitively it requires a very lesser minimum configuration than Windows 7. Another thing I noticed is that Windows XP had greater compatability than both Vista and 7 . So it ll remain my favourite till another OS comes .

I like Windows XP the most because it dosent require a lot of specs to run

I love linux ubuntu 10.10 It is my favorite os. I am running a dual boot of ubuntu and windows 7 on my laptop so i am using both operating systems. Linux takes some getting used to if you switch from windows to linux but if you ever want to test Linux, it is free! and easy to install along side windows. You dont have to get rid of windows to install linux. You can have both operating systems on your computer. But if you have time look up ubunntu+compiz fusion on youtube sometime and you will see exactly why i love Linux! I used windows for a long time, and its a good os but i like to have fun while im navigating through folders and see some cool effects. So i think windows is boring. But still a good os.

I am a multi-OS user!windows 7 is my favorite.I think it's easy to learn and use and the UI is wonderful.

I like Linux Kubuntu , you can do many things in it...and my favourite windows 7 :X with a gaming rigg configurantion

No doubt i like windows .The user friendliness of windows made me to love it. The features provided by microsoft is also very good.

Sorry I forgot about mac OS X Snow Leopard. Its truly stunning, awe inspiring and breath taking OS. Right now I have transformed my Linux mint to snow leopard type interface.

i also like Windows ..... it is easy to use ........ especially for games ...... but for security Linux is awesome.

I've heard them say Linux, Mac, etc. are fabulous, but since I never used it so the OS I like the most is still Windows XP :D

i like windows xp best, windows 7 is also good but in my own opinion windows xp is by far the best one that microsoft released. windows vista was probably the worst that i used.

I always use Windows and frankly i'm pleased. On Linux, the advantage that it is open source and can do configuration. Also the security of it is greater. But the Windows interface is acceptable.

I like windows 7, I thinks its definitely better than previous versions and the Mac OS

I'm presently using Vista premium and I like this version of windows! I haven't experienced windows seven as yet but I suppose there is still time for that. I used to use windows xp and I understand that it's quite a stable operating system and there are a lot of people still using this operating system. Some people are also saying that they've had quite a few problems with vista but I haven't experienced any problems so far so I'm quite happy with it. I know very little about apple as I have never used an apple mac! I suppose it would be an eye opener for me to try and use the apple operating system as well. I think that as long as things are working just fine though I will remain with vista. I just know that Microsoft are going to keep updating their operating systems and coming out with something new thereby forcing everyone to upgrade their operating systems! This is very expensive and I wish that Microsoft wouldn't take this action so quickly. I haven't used windows xp in quite a while now so I guess I'm almost forgetting what the operating system looks like! Andrew

i use windows 7 now. i had xp before and also had vista for some time. but i hate vista it slows down my pc and does not have the features easily available. i like linux but its not user friendly so cant work on it for a long time. i use to install linux just for fun and to know more. for now my favourite is windows 7. its like beauty with brains. it has all graphics yet not slow and also user friendly...

From the experience I had, I like Windows 98 and Windows XP the most since I never had problems with them. Vista is ok, but too much problems with it. Which is why Bill Gates didn't bother fixing Vista and went to Windows 7. I haven't tried Windows 7 yet, but I'm sure I will in the next few years. Haven't tried any other OS yet either.

My favourite and most recommended OS would be the Windows XP. It doesn't look as grand as Vista or 7 , but there is ease of usage when it's XP. XP is also easily tweakable for better performance unlike the other two. Also recommended for those who are into gaming and other heavy programs, since Vista and 7 are mainly just Home OS.

The first OS I used at my PC was Windows 98. It was my favorite operating system because it only uses minimal resources especially the hard disk. I only started using XP when we have our thesis at college where the minimum OS required to run our program was Windows XP. I was using a dual-boot then, XP for the thesis project and 98 for my personal computing. Then when I started working, the OS that our office use was Windows XP so I did fully upgrade my system to XP too. Since then, I was using XP and I already get used to it for being at help desk supporting end users. Now my PC at home was using Windows 7. I didn't even used Vista because I think even Microsoft considered it as failure. I'm also planning to use Ubuntu because I was amazed how it looks when test it to one of our clients.

I use the window xp service pack 3. Window xp is best among all operating systems. It is very user friendly and easy to use. I don't like window 7 and other operating systems.. Window 7 slows down the performance of pc.
