Those mylotters should be banned who start discussions with a rapid speed but never try or wish to comment back to all those responses that they get on their previous discussions. Just moments ago, i have seen that a mylotter has started more than 10 discussions where as he/she had more responses to comment( months ago). what do u think? are they should be banned?

Hello Shiby.
Well, i have had it seeing so much discussions being posted by one person.
Should the discussions be interesting to participate in, sure no problem, if they interact and respond as well.
But that doesn't seem to happen at all.
TATA.

If you really want to be fair then any uncommented response(s) to a discussion in the first hour should be grounds for banning the poster.
Members who post discussions without commenting back, or only say something simple, are actually doing themselves a disservice. Their rate of earnings will remain low. Sooner or later other members will get tired of responding to their discussions, and start avoiding them.
In my opinion just let them be. It is better to concentrate on other meaningful discussions, rather than dwelling on their attitude.

It will be nice, atleast they say some simple words by commenting back, but seeing without comments is not good !!!
I have avoided many users like this .

hi rosdimy....
very true speech.... i have seen a myloter today who has started more than 10 dis where as he/she has more than 100 dis are pending without comments. if don't go after them, there is a single member to response to a dis... and it will not be in no response category.
yes guna.... thats why i have raised this discussion.
take care both of you.

shibham but you do not know for sure why this person has not
come back to comment as he or she may be ill or had to go
out of the country. I know this sort of thing has irritated
'me too as I do believe that a lot of new ones here still are
not convinced that they will not make a ton of money on all our
responses when the truth is they do not get paid for our responses
at all. we typed the responses so we get paid for what we typed
and so if they go off and do not comment on our responses they
will not get anything eaRned and just wasted their time completely
But to be charitable and to know life sometimes messes us up and
we literally cannot get back to mylot as our off line lives are
shattered. it happened to me and it can also happen to others, I
wanted to come back but I was homeless and my son had lost his job
and we had to retrench. now I have my computer back and my monitor and i have earned enough on mylot to pay most of my internet each month. so lets say maybe those who make so many discussions aNd not reply should get a warning from mylot admins that they must slow down on the discussions til they have commented on all their discussions first.

hi hately....
your said reason may be raised but if you see them starting continuous discussions without commenting then.....? my finger is for them who wish to start dis after dis but no comment to those.
again, if he/she is a newbie, then forgiveness is quiet easy but if he/she is a veteran or already passed 1000 posts, then?
whatever has happened, may be happened to others and all mylotters better understand it. but for them as you have said admn's warning is essential to change their motive.
have a nice day.

Hi shibham
You have counted only ten discussion. In the past I have seen as many as fifteen of them posted within an hour or the less.
The most irritating thing with such lots is that many of they created post make no sense and some of them go to the 'no response' section where some time you may love to peep into and put your response with the hope of a BR. lol
Noway banning them. Just smile and hit your way. This would lower the risk of high BP and depression as well as frustration.

I do not get annoyed but wait for a response once I comment on somebody's post. Its feels good that ur comment has been read and responded.I make sure that I respond to each and every comment I receive. This is more to tell thanks, that u chose my post to comment. now I will wait for your response too ......

It's kind of hard to track them down. I don't know. They're probably spamming to get participation, but if you ban them then it raises all sorts of "what did I do?" questions.

While these sort of members are irritating, I don't think that they should be banned because they have not gone against any of the myLot guidelines. I guess if you know of certain members who do this on myLot, by all means boycott or ignore their discussions. The reason they generate multiple discussions in a short period of time is so that people will respond and that helps them to generate the money which is their main focus. If we boycott or ignore their discussions, they will not achieve their goal and like some other members already mentioned in their response, these members will eventully fade away. We have seen myLot members come and then go because they didn't get what they want from the site; let's just hope it's the same for this type of members sooner or later. Most importantly, let's just play out part in keeping myLot the awesome website that it is!

hi gerald...
thats very true that they are not against mylot guidelines but as it's a social site they should better understand what other lotters seek and how to make a relationship here. i have already avoid their discussions bcoz i always expect to receive a comment of my effort and me too always comment back to all of my responses. i think they never earn money only for receiving some responses, they are bound to comment back if they wish to earn more.
have a nice day.

Well...
I'd say it's not necessary to ban them. We can all just not go to their discussions. At least it works for me...

hai shibham..i think it`s unfair suggestion.let some of myloters do like that..and we do like we want it...we are here not only for money and dollars but we want got some friends and wanna get many information..
so it depends on admin , and mylot has a rule for banned people...i think it`s not deserve for banned a people like that

I think there are no rules against that, all though it can be quite annoying that all they wanna do is earn rather than to make this community a great one, but well come to think of it...what has drawn most of us here is the potential of earning something at the end of the month. So I guess about banning these people... i dunno their postings contributes to making this site work too.

by the way who I want to ban are those mylotters who keep sending unsolicited referral links and that is all they do. I saw one here some 400 plus friends but no discussion ever posted and all they ever do is send you some freaking ref links you never asked for.

hi candyfairy if that person does not comment on all those discussions he will not make a cent do you not know we do not get paid for the responses we get to our discussionns. we did not type those respnses
our fellow mylotters did so they get paid.makes sense As you do not
get paid for what other people do , only for what you do aNd type. so he did not earn anythiing for all his many discussions.so you are under
a misconception he may want to believe that but it is not true .
we do not get paid for what our fellow mylotters type and post to our discussions at all. we have to commebt to earn anything on them.

Yes Hatley is correct. The number of post one make does not contribute to one's earning. If anything works is the comment and quality discussion.
Many are under misconception that as many post they create as much they earn.

i know that feeling.i know a person who like to start discussions but never ever write back to the responders.i wonder why they start a discussion anyway.but we have no control over that.just hope he or she will reply those responses.perhaps they want to give us chances to replace their job.i will do it pleasantly.if they do not want to reply back then i will take in charge the place.i think that is what we should do.

Hi hanum..
That's the point. If he/she is not ready to comment back then he/she has no right to start a discussion. I think so. Very nice help to those starters who are not about to give comments. I also do the same sometimes which influence our fellow mylotters.
Have a nice day.

I think they should not get banned, sometimes a person is willing to share some of his/her experiences/ideas/thoughts with others and as a result of which they do not get enough time to respond to these discussions they might have started. But they might return back to these discussions after some time and see how other mylotters have responded to there discussions. Moreover sometimes people are not motivated to comment on the discussions they started some time back, but wait for them to come back to there answers, because its a joy to see how other mylotters are always there to help you and answer your questions.

hi goldenash...
you have started 10 discussions today and have pending responses that you have started three months ago. i mean you have more than 50 pending discussions yet to answer. so how you dare to start some another discussions again. have a nice day.
thanks for response.

Some types of discussions don't really need any comments, such as the ones that are constructed as polls. Also, when there are a lot of responses, the user probably won't bother to comment to each and every one. If there was an in-site notification system (maybe there is, but I'm new here) it would be easier to know when we get a new response and therefore go check it. I find it pointless to reload the pages with my discussions just in case I have a new response. I usually check around 10 minutes after I post them and then again in a few days. To answer you question in short, no, I think they should not be banned.

hi christinelle....
poll type discussions are not allowed in mylot.
that should not be right. i have seen some wise members here who received more than 100 responses and put their comments to each and every responses. even i have also received more than 50 responses various time but no response had left without commenting. if he/she does not wish to comment back to each and every responses then just leave mylot. its true that i become late sometimes due to work load yet i come as today.
have a nice day.

I don't think so they should be banned. They will, however, wonder why they aren't earning as they thought they would have. They'll leave on their own after awhile, having not read the rules or understood what it takes to earn and have fun here.

Hi. shibham. If they are just making discussions and they are not leaving any comments at all, then that is wrong. If they are not able to myLot as much then that is different. I personally think that they should at least comment to some of the responses rather than just to none.

I don't normally bother responding to people who start a bunch of discussions. I don't think they should be banned but I do believe that the moderators will warn them if their behavior is pointed out to them. That's not the purpose of this site, you are so right about that.

Yes, I think they should be banned too. Some of the members just write up a whole bunch of discussions and expect many people to reply to them so they can earn more money from Mylot without putting a whole lot of effort into writing in Mylot. But it really is my own opinion. Mylot admin can do whatever they think is right to them.

OMG!
I so agree with this!
I recently added a "friend" on mylot. and a few minute later. my blackberry keeps going off. He or she started ten discussions (no lie) back to back! This is completely annoying. and to mention when people comment on the topic they don't even respond back.
its all for money. simple as that. even though you won't get to much money on top of that.
quaily discussion boots earnings. now stupid, simple disucssions. hardly anybody responds to.

hi keshia...
i never think that you are telling a lie. as my experience says that there are too many members who tend to start as much as discussion they can in a day but never wish to respond back. i agree.
so i raised this topic that they should be banned so that they cant annoy us anymore. have a nice day.

I think thats how some newcomers get into this site... give them time... no one should be banned and if the discusion they start sux well then it does, but one of them could be a good one, just because he or she cannot decide which one is best topic that comes to mind... doesnt mean he should not post... it means he or she should attempt with all and then learn from them :) to know what kind of readers out there and what they want to hear :)

hi vaannoo...
welcome to mylot.
not at all. about which mylotter, i have mentioned here is a veteran and already crossed 1500 posts, so you cant say that it's a newbie mistake. they have well understood about mylot but motives are something different.
have a nice day.
