I also believe that if you're always positive and is stress-free then you won't definitely get sick easily. Because when you're always worried, you're immune system gets affected making you more prone top sickness. And besides, Its good to be always happy but the difficult part is being happy when you have problems. But they say its all in the mind so better be happy and healthy than sick. And its very expensive to go to a hospital.

Hello. Yes I agree that happy people are healthy or less susceptible to diseases. Why? It's because happy people are less stressed and it's being said that the main root of a disease is stress. If you are stressed then you may easily acquire colds. But if you are free from stress, well, it's not that you're a hundred percent safe from acquiring colds but you have much power to fight colds and other diseases.
And it's also true that when less stressed people acquire colds they easily fight it or they exhibit fewer symptoms. It's because their body is stronger.
To make things clearer within this discussion, happiness is just an outcome of being less stressed. If you're not so stressed out then you're happy. Question is how to extinguish stress? Our emotions is located in the brain and when you are sad the brains sends signal to other parts of your body, increasing this hormone or decreasing that hormone to come up with a balance. In the long run if one's state of mind is not healthy it takes a toll on our immune system. If our immune system is compromised we are susceptible to diseases. Hence it is important that we learn to stay happy even in the midst of a storm.

Thats true, many people want happiness and health, however, there is one thing which everyone is struggling for, and that is peace. A person may be happy but might not have peace. Coming to your discussion, it is right that if a person is not fearful of anything and if he is courageous , takes everything positive and is happy all time, he can be away from most of the diseases. But that hardly happens sometimes mainly because most of us usually think about the worst that may happen when we get heart attack or even the slightest pain.
