Many of us work hard everyday. We leave our houses to make money, we open the internet to make money, some people even upload files in the internet to make money. Students go to school for them to know things to make money in the future. Almost everything we do in our daily lives is all about money. Are there any way we can live without money? Tell me guys, can we live without money in our pockets? I wish there are some way we can live without it. I just wish.... What do you think about this? What are the ways you think that we can live without money? For me, I can't think of anything, honestly, I live in the City which I really need money for my everyday expenses.

I think we cannot live like animals, their instinct to trouble is bot like our instincts. We need shelter, but first enable for us to have a good shelter we need money to buy one.

After all, making money is the goal of our life in modern civilization. So in this life we cannot live without money. But I saw on TV a story about a man living far from the crowd without money. He had all he needed to make his own energy and food without the need to pay for them. He had courage. Although he took it first as an experiment, now he is not willing to come back to civilization too soon, maybe never.

Does he have a life partner or kids? I think we can do it too but with these things (internet, tv....etc) that surrounds us, it's hard to do that way.

Yes,it's possible to live without Money. We did it before we came up with the concept of Money, and there are some who've decided to get out of the habit and try and live a simpler life without it. I saw a TV item a few weeks back about a guy who had done this, and was living by bartering his time for jobs from the farmer whose land He was living on in a mobile home, and the neighbours..He went foraging for wild produce to eat, caught fish in the nearby river...It was quite a short item,so I don't recall how long he'd been doing this,or if it was going to prove viable for him as a long term proposition..Money works for most people's needs, that's why it's caught on..

We cannot all live like that, but some could. Other people we're trained at school to work in the office and some knows how to live in the forest we're they always camp. Good to know that people now a days still know how to live without money.

It seemed to be working for this Guy,who was apparently single, but I assume it'd be more complicated if He was in a relationship...I'm guessing it would take a very understanding and like minded partner to settle down and raise a family in that way in this day and age!

Some people make a life bartering and I think that might have worked quite well years and years ago, but if you live in the city and require transport everywhere you go and must pay rent/mortgage, it's imperative to have money in your life.

Money is very important to us now. It is very important that we cannot go to our offices if we don't have money in our pocket. Lucky, if you live near by your office. We also need to pay for our bills too.

Hi ellyse, after currency or money has come into being I think we absolutely can't live without money. unless we are to back to primitive communes and to get everything needed by swap transaction, like exchanging domestic animals or whatever with salt or flour or etc. It's really convenient to live in such troublesome and messy way indeed.
Nowadays, money talks in society and only having money we then could get whatever we need. Not one would serve us for sure if without a single penny in the pocket. Therefore have to earn enough expenses for our daily livelihood. Without money we could hardly move a pace totally
Happy posting

I guess it really depends on where you live. However I live in the United States and we need money to survive here. Without money I would be homeless and might even go hungry. we do however have several services such as food stamps that help people that dont have enough money feed their families. Have a great day and thanks for the great question :)

Thank you too. I think you are also right, it really depends where you live. Here int he Philippines you can have vegetables at your backyard and use it for your food everyday but if you are going out to work, you definitely need money.

Technically, I guess it is possible if one has a self-sustaining organic farm where everything could be found, harvested, slaughtered.
Of course, the farm won't have amenities like electricity, phone lines and stuff because by doing having this requires payment of monthly bills and would therefore require cash.

True. What we do everyday need money from food to our electricity. I guess we really cannot have another alternative for money.

I think it is actually possible but it would take a real change in our thinking and how we survive. People are already learning to do things without spending as much money as they use to, like growing their own food, bartering for goods and services, trading used items that are still in good condition, etc. There are some people in today's society who live without money. We only think it is impossible because we are so accustomed to how we have been doing things. If you think it can't be done, try doing it for just one week....be creative and just how much you can actually do.

having so much information is all we needed. I like what you said. I think we just all need to be positive with life and try things the we think we cannot do.

It would be very difficult to live without money, that is for sure. Everything you come to, costs so much more than ever before, and so therefore, it take a lot more money to survive on that it ever did. I know I couldn't live without money, as there would be no way I could ever pay my bills, or have money to by the necessities of life. We all have to have money to live on. If I had to live without money, I wouldn't be able to. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

its money which rules now, with out it we can't do any thing, even for food we need money. unfortunately the trend is changing in such a manner that we give importance to money............but we have to give more to farmer who create food which is the main source for living........

right. Money is also controlling us now. everything is about money, our every move is for money or we pay for money. In these days we should really not forget about farmers, who raise plants for us.

If now it were the past, we could live without money. But not now. In the past people only needed house, food, clothes. Now image that you see. Do you want to live without electricity, water, transport...Without money, we can only use products we make. If we want to use other product, we will exchange with other people.
And what's human society like without money? If you want to use the goods, you will have to exchange your goods to get it. The introduction of money made the production of commodities develop.
We need money to live. Just should not appreciate the role of money. Take care of our family. Live happily.

Good comment. We are all counting on money but there are other things we should think about and it is our family.

You can't live without money if you live anywhere near people. If you've moved away into the wilderness and hunt and gather your own food, sure. But otherwise, it's kind of a necessity- food, shelter, clothes... everything needs to be paid for.

We can live without money if the majority of people deem money to be useless. The only worth that money has is the worth that people give it. The majority deem it as very valuable so it is needed on some level.

It is important in some ways. But we should not let money control us.
