Well, I think that yes. The way you dress can have a very strong influence on the way you feel and even on your personality. Many people are dressed to feel in a certain way, for example, once I was watching a "behind the scenes" of the movie I Am Sam, and Michelle Pfeiffer, who plays a lawyer on the film, said that she needs to do some research for her character and a lawyer with who she have talked, told her that she was dressed to win. Of course, the way you dress have a strong influence on your personality and the way you feel with yourself.

Hello, I don't think expensive dress has anything to do with better personality. A personality is something that you carry even if you run naked. But then of course, people will think you are insane. Though I don't lay emphasis on dress but a sense of decency should be reflected in your costume. Anything that looks disproportionate conveys a wrong message about your personality. The things you choose relates to your personality. So bearing a good taste about dresses matters. Gaudiness or unnecessary decoration, of course, will convey a negative message. I dress for myself,and yes I believe dressing up shows your personality.I'm a simple girl who loves unique and comfortable clothes.comfort is very evident in my clothes.my favorite get-up is a pair of leggings,a mini dress or tunic,and a nice pair of wedge.from there,a lot of people see that I am all for comfort.I rarely wear heels because I can't take the pain,so I go for wedges.I hate jeans because it is very hot right now,so I go for cotton leggings,paired with long tops so I don't have to worry about visible panty lines.

Personally I have encountered that even the best dressed person can be very cocky as they think because they can dress nicer they are somehow better than others. Not saying this all as I am from the modeling world and have a room full of clothing more than you will find in any retail store and I believe I am a great person with a wonderful personality. But being exposed to this field I have encountered many quite the opposite as I believe it is not the clothes but their personality in general.

Well, I think the clothing we wear does not really change our personality, for the better or for the worse, but it might effect our self confidence and also how others see us, so dressing well is good for that reason.
