Skype keeps freezing chat windows...

I use Skype pretty much all the time, and my pc is a good pc, but lately on Skype, the chat windows keep freezing for about 10 seconds at a time and it is really frustrating when typing a message. Does anyone else have this problem, or does anyone know what to do to fix it? I'm using version 4.1.0.166. I'm using Windows 7 and have a very good pc, so I don't kno why it could be doing this. Any suggestions or help will be very appreciated. Also post if you have the same problem so I know it's not just me. Thanks :)

No I have not faced any problem with my Skype software. I always used this. And I think my Skype working good. I think you again install this after removing its older version. Then your problem cans solved.
