Being a mother, i am worry about the effect of games to my kids. They are soo addicted to it that their good attention to other good thing is no longer good as before. Please share with me on how to overcome this. Sure i couldn't just keep away the games from them. Thanks

I have a child who is addicted to games and when his game console broke he went nuts. He didn't know what to do and he is still driving me nuts. We have still not replaced it and he has now went for 2 1/2 months. He is still alive and he has learned how to go outside and start playing with others. We are going to get him one but we are going to limit his play time. Good luck.

2 months without games will certainly drive them nut and of-course me. Usually we keep away the games during their exam time which is only around a week. Yes, you're right! my kids must go outside to play and this can reduce their addiction. Thanks angelican.

Hi there ik4man! I feel you. I am also a mother and we have an internet cafe as our business so our only child is exposed to lots of different computer games, may it be network games or online games. The only advice that I can give you is to limit the time that your child spends on the computer. You can choose it to be the same time that you have free so that you can supervise while your child is playing. You can also limit the kind of game that your child plays like putting site restrictions and uninstalling games that you think is inappropriate for your child. Once he gets used to it, you can stop supervising little by little.

Thanks nanayangel for the ideas, that's really help. Well, my kids were on psp and ps 2 games, i wonder how's if they also got hold with computer games! sure added to the problem. To limit them with the games is such a difficult thing to do, anyway we should try our best.
