I strongely beleive if you do the time then you should do the time as long as you are the person who really did the CRIME.
Many times we see that the wrong people are charged and then excuted for acrime they did not commit however they were in the area so it is ok to convict them...WRONG
What are your thoughts on this?

I use to not think much of it until my child was killed. I can not post my views on this because we are still going to court over it but i can tell you that some crimes should have a harsher punishment than others. I agree with you when you said that sometimes people are doing time for crimes that they did not commit but for the ones that were proven guilty and they did commit the crime, then they should have to pay for this. I will give you a better view of my feelings after the court process is over with.

Good Question. I think it's really sad that when people are executed and found innocent years later. I do believe that people that commit these crimes should suffer more than their victim! I'm sure that all these people are in a better place....

I think an eye for an eye should prevail. We are paying our taxes to support people who killed or raped or created some other kind of mayhem, & they have a roof over their heads & a warm place to sleep, & 3 square meals every day. There are those who can't say that about their exsistance, & that is the sadest part.
