i don't mind liking someone. what i don't like is when a "crush" becomes "infatuation". and i'm not even sure if the person i'm infatuating on is also seeing me.
and do you get that feeling that the person you're infatuating on is kind of infatuating on you too. worse part is when that person starts to avoid you for no reason at all!
frustrating.
i feel like a teenager again.

crush, infatuation, love, dejection etc are all part of life, so do not feel sad about it and move on. But i can suggest you one good strategy which helped me get over my share of infatuations which i had during my teens. The best way to get over it is to involve yourself in some creative activities which will deviate your mind and give you a break from this problem of yours. This is a proven method and a hit with psychologists all over the world. Don't believe me? try consulting a psychologist yourself.

i won't consult a psychologist 'cause i don't have the funds yet. as to finding creative activities that will keep me away from unnecessary thoughts, i will just study my lessons (i'm pursuing a career in law, and the guy is a classmate). i just found out he's got a girlfriend so it's enough motivation for me to stop looking at him :D thanks much for the advice

Well, the only reason why i asked you to consult a psychologist was to stress on my point that even a psychologist too would recommend the same method that i told you :)
Anyways, goodluck with your studies.

Hi mcoliva08!
Don't worry, what you feel is normal! There's nothing wrong with that. We do experience that once in a while in our lives but we don't have different experiences. Others just starting to feel that in their later age, others on their early age, and others feel even they have partner already (which is wrong). If the person's starting to avoid you then maybe he has a valid reason for doing so... If he continues to do so then let him be. Don't go after him coz you deserve someone better than that! Someone who'll be there for you ALWAYS! You deserve to be happy so don't limit yourself for that.
God bless! ^_^
