what do you do if you CAN'T sleep?

There are individuals who are experiencing insomnia or have a hard time getting to sleep so they could rest... How about you? Have you experienced this one? If so, what do you do so you could sleep faster? Or if not yet, what can you contribute to help persons experiencing this one? ;)

I think that if one leads a busy active life, sleep is seldom a problem. When I get to bed I have to say my prayer right away or might fall asleep and miss the privilege of speaking with God at the close of the day.

i think i must open my netbook and want to connect and maybe read some news in internet and try to get some dollars from internet...maybe a cup cofee make my night more interesting...yummy

If I cannot sleep, I usually read novel because if we read for too long, sleepiness will come. Sometimes I also meditate with soft background music to accompany me. To meditate that way will make our body relax and calm, and it will be easier for us to sleep. Oh, and I also drink a lot of water to cool down my body, too!

When i know i have sleeping problems (this happens sometimes, not all the time), in that period i don`t drink coffe, and i try to get me tired with something, i stay many hours at the computer, or i clean my house, so that i could go to sleep easy, sometimes it works for me, anyway, it depends of the insomnia reason. If the insomnia reason is a problem, until you fix it, you cannot sleep, unless you take some sleeping pills or solve it.

If i can not sleep, i play the movie on tha laptop. Sooner ot later fall asleep. Insomnia may be due to nerve ot simply are too coffee, coke and so on.
