You assignments of your own or just copy from others?

well even if i read books before a test for better preparation, i usually hate doing assignments that im not really that interested in.

A couple of times, yes, I did copy from classmates, but most of the times I did my assignments on my own and then share them with my friends so that if I made mistakes, I will not be the only one who will get low grades.

Well, back in my school days... Our section have SMEs (subject matter experts). So when I'm the SME for that subject, I do the assignment and others copy while if the other people are the SMEs for that subject matter, I just copy their work. But I seldom copy from others, I always relies in myself.

My work is my own each and every time. I never really liked to depend on anyone to do my assignments. Even when doing team assignments, when we split an assignment in parts, I had something tentatively put together just in case something fell through with another team member. In a couple of notable cases, it did, including when every member of the team but myself dropped the class. With that point in mind, you really cannot rely on people to get it done right, other than yourself. I mean, just because someone did it, does not mean they do it right. They could have done it wrong, purposely or otherwise. Plus, I would rather turn in my own, bad work, than someone else's perfect work. So I always did the assignments on my own every time without fail.

In high school, I used to do my own homework, people copied them and it made me mad because I spent so much time on them.. then later in the year those who copied me, I waited for them to do so I can copy them. It was not a habit for me just thought it was unfair. I am currently in college and I have never copied anyone. I may look at others as a sample but not completely copy it word for word. Plus, in college it is more serious so no, I would not copy under any condition. I rather turn in my assignment late then copy or not turn it in at all because I do not want to face the consequences if I get caught. In the end, it would be my fault anyway. Have a nice weekend :)

I used to do both when I was in my student years but most of the time I usually do my homework on my own. I'll only copy when the assignment is very hard to answer and a lot of calculations because if try it all over again it gives me headache. But doing assignments on your own make you feel more confident about yourself and develop self-esteem.

it's better to make your assignment. If the teacher asks things related to your assignment you can easily answer it.

I did most of my assignments by own until 3rd year .. If i was busy with some other work, i would copy from others, but when i entered 4th year(&th sem) i started copying assignments from other boys..Then in the final semester i never wrote an assignment.. Though, those assignments gives more internal marks

Well I've another alternative, yeah! I never do them. Infact I've already lost heaps of marks for not doing them. In my place you are allowed to copy, in fact teachers themselves give you the manual to copy from but i guess I'm too lazy to do even that much. I don't see any point in tormenting students like that. In my opinion there should be no assignment or any such thing and if there exists something like that, then it should be optional and not compulsory. The time thus saved should be used to impart some practical knowledge and giving first hand experience of the task at hand.However no use of throwing my frustration over here. These teachers will never improve and neither will students. So, my advice will be to do whatever you think is right for you,I mean something that can help us in the long run. COPYING random stuff from somewhere ain't going to help us reach anywhere. So care for your future and do things accordingly. Happy mylotting !!
