Guidance for drinking water purifier?

I am cautious about drinking water. My family members are sensitive to health. I would like to buy a water purifier. Many brands are available in the market. All say "They are the best." they say uv,uf,ro, etc.... What should I look on for a best water purifier? what is your water purifier brand? why did you go for it? what is your water purifier advantage over others. I ask all this because, it's hard for me to boil water and cool then put in common filter,..... I would like to know all the information in detail, it will be helpful.
