Old song that still gets to you

There are many old songs that please my ears , among them Enjoy the silence from Depeche Mode , What is love - Haddaway , All that she wants - Ace of base .

Oh yeah, that happens to me all the time, I should say. Some of the songs are so enchanting and romantic, bringing back all the beautiful memories whenever I hear it. If the lyric carries a story, that makes it more meaningful. Here is a song I am pretty much addicted to, "Tennessee Waltz". The music is so beautiful, and the lyric carries all the meaning !!

My husband and I are fond of listening to old songs. We also observed that old songs have more sense than the new ones. New songs are released just for the sake of profit but there are no souls in those songs.

Whenever I heard some 80's song ,makes me feel nostalgic. The New Wave era is my favorite. It makes me feel young again whenever I heard them being played in the radio. Depeche mode, Flesh For Lulu , INXS , OMD, etc. songs were among on my list of favorites.

There are still old songs that really touch my heart. Most of them are love songs from different artists especially songs by Chicago and Michael Jackson. :) That's why some songs from the past are still revived up to these days because those are really beautiful and cannot be forgotten. :)

Yes, i still listen to that song that impressed me than, and find it very relaxing when i see that the same tinkle is still giving. The song is called "the weakness in me", and i think it touched me because i associate it with a real event in my life

Music now days are rocking with the special and new instruments and the musicians are accordingly good...I am not telling that old musicians are bad, but i'm telling new musicians are also good like the old .. There is an old song which probably came 20 years before, i wasn't born at that time, but that movie was a mega hit and it still stays in many's hearts ..It's about friendship movie.. I understood that movie when i was 13.. A song in that movie was really exceptional, it always rocks my ears.. The singers have done it exceptionally well !! i always remember and listen to it !!

Definitely! Woah I thought I'm the only one who is nostalgic about old songs. For me, there is one chinese song which still brings back memories. It's a song from Jeff Zhang. Any responders here who are chinese will know who he is. The name of the song is 'yong qing'.

I listen to a lot of music. some of the older songs are still some of the best to listen to. i can still get moved by Joy to the World. some songs just never lose their feeling.

Yes some old songs still gets to me and well lol yes the newer songs sometimes don't mean much at all. Lol your tiltle makes me remember a song by David Pomeranz lol "The Old Songs" wonder if you know that song or Karen Carpenter's Yesterday Once More lol.

I remember being caught for not paying attention and for copying the lyric of a song while the teacher was teaching in class. For that I was punished to write lines. It's the same song of Let It Be by Michael Jackson which still makes me emotional as much now.

The songs that makes me feel so emotional are the songs from the westlife, backstreet boys, A1, 98* and many more artist in 90's. They give me inspiration and makes my heart melt with their songs. Till now I uploaded their songs. Love to listen with it.

Me too. I listen to a lot of music. I thought then that I can't live without it. Back in high school, it's like first thing I do when I got back at home is to turn on the stereo and play it loud. I grew up with music though I'm not a singer or anything. My mother loves music so much and there's always good music in the house. Speaking about songs that would bring childhood memories back or awaken the long forgotten good feelings, it's the old songs. I'm young and I'm a fan of the oldies...old movies,old songs,old books/stories.From the Everly Brothers to Matt Monroe to the Platters,etc..And of course there's also the Spice Girls!!!Two become one evokes a feeling of "sometime in the past" in me everytime I hear it:)

Yes, everytime I heard a song which I used to listen to when I was a kid, I still listen to it. Sometimes, it makes me reminisce especially when there's an unforgettable moment within that song.. And remembering the friends you have met by the time that song was in a hit!

Old songs that used to touch me even up to now are, Without you by Mariah Carey, that's why u went away by MLTR, Whole again by atomic kitten, Power of love by Celine Dion as well as I have nothing by whitney Houston. All these are have never left my mind and they never fails to make me think about the past, touching me once again. Every song has got a story to tell and those listed somehow relate to my life. I agree that songs nowadays are missing out on the touch feeling when they think looks are more important than anything else.

Yes definitely,i am not that old now but i am fond of old songs rather than the new kind of music of today though there are also songs today that is nice but for me old song still gets into my being,songs that has been on the year when i was born, when i hear theese songs especially love songs, it strucks into my heart and i will feel like ive been born again. My father used to introduced me to this kind of songs that's why i am also influenced to hear it and to the extent i will love it forever.
