hi guys^^ if you found a bag with 3 million dollars would you give it to the police or keep it? ahah about me i would keep it bcs my mom said that there was this guy that worked in police and he was taking money from there. that money that people give to police if they find it in the street. he also was stealing in other ways too. they found it out and he was fired but had so much money already that he continued fine even without a job. so i would keep it bcs at least i could help my family and other people instead of give to someone that would keep it maybe. what about you guys?^^ please share ahah^^ i guess everyone would be with the money ahah^^

keep it. I wouldn't give it to the police... I dont like sharing. I wouldn't tell anyone though, that would be a mistake. I would start trying to find a place for all the money, probably giving alot away to family. I wouldn't want all of it... just enough for me.

3 million is a big sum of money! I wonder who is going to lose that amount easily. If I were to pick up, I won't know what to do. But I will surely bring it home before deciding to keep or report it to police. I won't be standing around waiting for the owner to claim it for it's too huge a sum. Things come to my mind will be, money meant for businesses or it's a ransom. Therefore it's never safe to decide on the spot as to what to do. However with such huge sum of money, their serial numbers are usually marked and it won't be easy to spend them. I think it's better to hand it over to the police.

I think if I find a bag with 3 millions dollars then I wait for its owner means I tried to get its owner numbers. And if I find owners contact numbers in bag then I will contact to its owner and hand over bag to its owner and if I don’t find owners contact numbers then I not going to police because I think in present time police are also involved in many illegal activities so we can’t believe fully on them and if bag owners complain in police then also this news will be in news paper on any day with owners name and contact number. And then I contact to owners personally and hand over bag to them.

Well I would try to find the owner and probably the only way would be to hand it over to the police. The police usually return to the finder if the owner isn't found. I know it's a lot of money but it isn't mine so I'd always see it as dirty money if I were to just keep it.....
Imagine how you would feel if you lost that amount of money.

I will give it the police and I will ask them to find the owner of the bag, cause it is not mine and its a sin that you will take the thing that its not yours. Maybe the owner really needs also the money and its your conscience to take it.

A difficult situation. Just reading your post is a stress.
I would like to keep it but, I would be living all the rest of my days being bogged by my conscience. What if the money will be used for an operation of somebody? What if the money is for homeless kids?
I'll be honest, I don't have a definite answer.
