We have one bird. She is a parakeet. I like her. I enjoy listening to her chirp and sing. She always sounds so happy!

Yes, I love birds. I have a parrot that talks up a storm when he wants to but he only speaks Spanish. He is very resistant to learning English. And I have a parakeet that has learned how to wolf whistle but can't talk.

We have an outside dog...& an inside cat & the cat knows not to mess with the 3 parrots. He still looks hopefully at the finches & keets though...
The keets seem to give off the most feathers, but the parrots tend to thro their food around. We clean under them every day, so we dn't attract mice!

I love birds. Love the color of their feathers and I just love them. We don't really own a bird but there are plenty birds that keep coming to our yard. We have 4 bird house and a bird bath in the yard and we always put bird foods for them

I was looking at your photos on your profile page and notice you have a black cat as well like my Pyewacket--I used to have birds, and would love to get one again..I had a parakeet named Cisco, who was a captured bird...captured meaning that he must have been someone's pet and flew away, but I managed to get him...He must have been fairly old to begin with since he only lived about five years with me...then there was Cheeky, a grey-cheeked parakeet who I had for 15 years...she was my pal..She always love to perch on my shoulder, then climb up and preen my hair...and never once poop on me!! LOL

My cat was an Havana Brown. Haverhill Tanhauser the 2nd. He was a great cat & he just passed away in March...I miss him lots! Since he had such a high falutin' name, I just used to call him Cat! He was chocolate brown all over, with bright green eyes! A real beauty! I saved him from the cat show life! He must not have reproduced well, so they neutered him, & sold him!
