you have many benefits for using kaspersky,because kaspersky is far better than avast and detects almost all kind of virus,it will not make your pc slow like avast.and another advantage it is original.

Avast is a good anti virus if you are looking for best anti virus then go for MCafee it is the best anti virus for a normal user even Norton which is said to be created by the professionals is not as good as MCafee as Norton slows down your computer's speed but MCafee does not avast is good anti virus as it protects your computer completely....in my advise the anti virus which you are using is outdated not by the date but from its features its is outdated as to keep your computer safe from virus and other infecting elements go for avast or MCafee.....

Just keep updating and make your 160 days worth. You would perhaps like to source around for an alternative. And before you decide for any would be wise to compare some of their features and price. Good luck kaushikchakraborty!

Why did your friends told you that it was bad? In my opinion Kaspersky is one of the best out there in the market. I've been using it for the past 3 years and I haven't encountered any problems with it yet. Even reviews of antivirus in different websites rank it as one of the best. I think you shouldn't uninstall your anti virus, you'll just waste your money that you paid for it. If you're still unsure about your anti virus do further research and you'll have many to choose from.

Stick with the Kaspersky until it expires and then switch. Kaspersky is good, but not as good as other antivirus programs. You just need to help yourself as well in trying to avoid sites or files that may harm your computer. Also, try MalwareBytes to pair up with your antivirus.

hello Kaushik :) I know it confuses us when people say that don't use this antivirus and use that one. particularly when we have a certain anti-virus software and our friends tell us that it is bad, don't use it and stuff. I would say that utilise the potential of your present anti-virus. let it complete its tenure of 160 days, Kaspersky is a good antivirus and I have seen many of my friends using it :). There are a lot of free antivirus softwares available on the internet like Avira antivir , McAfee , Avast , AVG , Bitdefender , Comodo , nortan , PC tools , Zone alarm etc. just do a bit of research about them. My best advice would be, Try Free anti-virus softwares for a month each and decide at the end of the year which one suits you the best :). Anti-virus softwares can detect only virus threats, there are other viruses which are sent through malware, spyware, adware, which antivirus software can't detect at times. so its better to log on websites which are safe.

Avast is also good to use. but kaspersky is one of the best antivirus. avast dont scan small viruses. so its better to use a valid antivirus.
