Hi moms. I'm a new mom and a single mom as well. My problem is that when my son become 2 years old he was hard to feed foods and so picky specially now his turning 3 years old. Sometimes he never eat, he just rather drink his milk. Yet he eats when he like the foods. I know that his lack on nutrition that he should be taken in his age. Is their someone moms their who could help me and give some advices on what to do?

Its really very difficult feeding kids in that age. even my son was troublesome. I used to feed him his favorite food only and when ever he was actually hungry, sometimes he would not eat for several hours and have only milk and biscuits. I tried cornflakes, oats so that he developed some liking for food. the doctor said its fine till he is active.
just look at his choices of food. give only those till he starts asking for other foods. my son became alright after joining school. he never had complete lunch or dinner. I just use to forcefully feed him something.
I made him join swimming so that he gets hungry and eats something solid, that worked. he has his food completely and sleeps well too.
make him physically active in some outdoor games, he will get tired and hungry too.

I use to give him cereals like koko crunch he loves to eat it and biscuits either. He loves to eat fruits too like apples and mangoes. I wish he could go to school too so that he will busy and makes him hungry. He loves go outside the house and play with the other children. Thanks for sharing dugabala.

Hello Jaijaye!
I don't think that for a kid so big(after all now he is 3 years old) milk is enough as food.Do you try to give him fruits(bananas or oranges or apples),soupe or a little piece of chicken?Because only milk can't give him all vitamins and proteins which he needs at his age.
Maybe you can go with your son to a doctor and explain this situation!I hope that you can find a solution for your problem and that I help you at least a little
!
Have a nice day and happy lotting!
